My sounds card been off since I fitted some new RAM to the PC (ok I didn't plug it in right) but now its showing up as unrecognised PCI item.
I've no idea what the soundcard is its so old, so I've no idea about what drivers to install is there a set of default drivers I can use or am I stuck...
Yep someone inquired about having it done onna 172 its an easier option.
If you look at the clyutch pedal on the clutch you ca see its just a se saw like thing you could make it longer hence lengthen throw.
Racer are also keen as its lighter and lighter is better also the engine responds quicker which isn't more power just more response which is what they need.
The electric throttle body ECU has pin outs for only one TPS wheras the phase 1 has tow also the phase 2 ECU has the pin outs for running the throttle body..
I take it this is either the Renault kit which nooone can find a part number for or more likly the Nick hill conversion kit?
You will damage the cat a bit people drive round for loads of miles though with broken ones with no problem you could always unplug the injectro its the easy option.
It should be stable to well over 120 mine always has been. Get the trackign checked the ting bit out makes a difference at high...
TT looks great but chassic etc wise they arn't wonderful they can be fixed and there are a few racing ones but few people do much with them beyind engine tunning as the 1.8 T engine has loads for it plus the people who buy them are more often after the look (nothing wrogn there I'd love one and...
I'd go get some FK coilover there a group buy on at the moment for £420 or so which is a bargin and much better value IMo then springs which I've never liked.
Bottom ends £150~350.
Then a new cambelt and clutch (might as well when there out so thats £160 or so) plus head gasget (£30) then a remap to deal with the extra power (unless you want to run /buy a whole Williams ECU and loom) OR Gunner gibson on WIlliams CLio sells cheap ECU just swop your...
I wuldn't bother raly custom ones would be the best way but for the price and gains I'd not bother the money cna be better spent on a 2.0 bottom end etc.
They will say its a visual check so cannot be to blame.
£140 isn't to much realy its offically 0.6 hours accoring to Autodata (they have no reason to lie) then new pads are £40 from Renault so its about £100 labour which knowing what prices are charged although a lot isn't stupid.
Might sound dasft but check the light adjsuter on the back axle isn't broken or the adjsuter on the lights isn't broken.
The car might have been in an accident and the replacments came by bad luck from a 172 which had ben made for the foreight models.
Even the imports lights work right...
DOn't bother with that box as dan said the box is usless. Renaulr have never done any good gearboxes.
Check your car is like other 1.2's they can get heavy which can be fixed by a new clutch at absolute worst or a new cable. A new clutch or a modied lever might be expensive but much cheaper...
Renaul5 gave 001 to Williams but it when up for sale along witha load of other bits earlier in the year but enault did a private deal to get 001 back hence its recient showing at FCS and the Renault world series.
Thats sound squite reasonable from the seller not like he's obviuosly selling the car knowing it was on the edge of breaking.
As regards the garage I'd ask to get it taken to Matt in Accringtons place (Renault pecilast breakers) they can arrange towing if you need but they can do it quikcer and...
Remove the pump stick some sealant on the hole on the tank will save weight as well. Plus since the front and rear are the same you can use it if the other one ever fails.
You won't miss it its on the tank.
You can just unplug the wiring and the piping if you want to.
You could always swop injectors round if you want then chedck your plugs see what colour they are. If another spark plug changes colour when you change the injectors round then you'll need a new one.
Small difference can make huge changes.
Wheel offset is different but the car itself driveshafts etc are much the same.
The different shocks and suspension setup camber etc also have an effect.
In theory there quicker they have much of the advanatges of being lighweight and having the...
