It is FACT that none of the traders on here actually know what they're talking about. In fact, bring me your car, I made some Renault tools out of cardboard. I copied the pattern from some pictures off of google, so I know they're the right (but not special) tools.
Dynamat is hardly complicated! lol. It will make a huge difference, especially with the wonderful French doors. :)
For me, with audio stuff, do it properly, or don't do it at all. You spend soooo much time back tracking and replacing stuff otherwise.
Your best off saving up, getting an amp...
Depends what you want from it really.... I quite like the whole black car witha random colour theme thing tbh, but you'll have to be prepared to get a few more chav comments.
Or, you can make it stealth and paint them black.
Ditching Focals for Pioneer Renault speakers? You're off your rocker mate..... lol
Focals are the greatest speakers known to man. fact.
I wouldn't use the standard HU speaker cables, it's crap. Just follow the standard wire through the car and run some decent stuff through exactly the same...
My left testicle says it's air/water in the system / shitty old fluid.
As others said, bleed the fluid, replace it with good stuff. I'd also put on braided hoses at the same time, just because it saves you effort if you chose to do it later.
Good luck chap, as I said before, TDF are very very fair with their figures.
There's an awful lot of 'tuners' around that vastly over exaggerate their figures. I'm sure you know what you're doing so just make sure you ask the right questions.
They certainly do. My best mate owns one. To be honest, having heard how bad everyone says it out of the box, I was pleasantly surprised with it standard.... It's not that bad. But with the geometry set up and springs, it's wonderful. Set up by tdi south, where the guys went for the Essex...
I wasn't suggesting that he goes the forced induction route.... Just saying, there's plenty of people who have spent 10k+ on a Clio. I'm soon to join the list of nutjobs :)
Some of the serious 'charged cars must have had that sort of money spent them? By the time you've got it 'charged and engine components, coilies, seats, cage, brakes, and labour, that would have to set you over £10k?
Your best bet to find a grill is to pay your membership and have a look through the for sale section. Quite often there are people splitting cars that are damaged / engine failure etc etc.
Being as you're new to all of this, the technical guides on here alone are worth your £12. They're often...
I can't be arsed with it all tbh. Mostly because I don't really know what the feckin hell I'm doing when it comes to detailing.
Buying some shampoo, wash mitt and drying towel last week was a massive event for me. lol.
Nothing to do with price mate, there's some very good speakers out there for sensible money. The JL amp however, excellent choice :) I'm a big fan of JL stuff.
That's the best thing about BG.... it's looks incredible when it's clean. Shame it will be dirty again by the time you get home!
Not sure about the black headlights, but you did a great job on the corsa (i think that's the first modded corsa that I've actually liked), so I shall reserve judgement!
I'd be incredibly surprised if that was genuine, 325hp is massive from that engine. Tdf are said the have the fairest of fair dyno results. No exaggerated crap that you get elsewhere.
Good luck mate. Looking forward to seeing this.
