I loved the yellow ones on schweppy's cup.... Really different, looked great.
I've always been of the thinking that if I'm going to get my wheels refurbed, I'd go a different colour, otherwise I'd feel slightly disappointed with the money it had cost....
There's a buyers guide on here somewhere.
Biggest things to check are service history and cambelt change (the whole kit, not just the belt) if that hasn't been done, you need £600 off straight away.
I run two cars, it's something that only you can work out tbh... Just calculate your fuel costs for the month/year and see. You'd need to be doing a lot of miles to justify it I think as, for what it is, the Clio is pretty frugal with fuel.
The only reason I'm keeping two cars is because it...
I'd buy Rainsports or Hankook's mate... The best value for money tyres IMO.
I've got Uniroyal rainsports on my car at the moment and have Hankook's on my other car, so I can say, from personal experience, they're both very very good tyres.
Fair enough mate....
I've always been of the thinking that if a job's worth doing, it's worth doing properly.... A lot of the problem with the standard setup is that the HU can't provide enough power and you get clipping, then it sounds s**t regardless of what speakers you're using.
Up to you...
IMO, if you're not going to amp them, don't bother doing it at all......
I also wouldn't buy edge stuff.... it's all w**k. If you're on a tight budget, buy JBL stuff. Very good for the money.
Depends what you view as a ball ache tbh..... it's maybe 4 / 5 hours to do buy yourself, 2/3 for...
I've thought about doing that.... I've got a friend who I guess you'd describe as a keen amateur, but he doesn't have everything he needs to do a proper job yet.
Perhaps it's worth me having a go myself..... just a bit worried about fecking it up. I guess things can't go too badly as long as...
Rockford are OK, but not up to JL standards IMO.
Vibe space are solely for SPL use really. Alpine Type R's are supposed to be pretty good, never tried them myself though.
Will you be amping them?
FAAAAAAAR too much.
I sold mine, all in very good condition except the front left which had some light curbing. Two virtually brand new rainsports on the rear and two useable PE2's on the front for £300 and fitted them for the lad.
So it's getting towards the time of year when the weather is going to get better etc.... I want to get my car a good detail.
I've never done anything more than wash my car with two buckets and some shampoo so I want to get it professionally detailed and properly sorted.
What sort of price am...
Welcome mate! I live in Crawley :)
The Recaro's tend to fetch huge amounts of money as they're so rare. Lots of aftermarket seats that look great, and will wear a lot better.
Standard fuel is absolutely fine mate. They don't really need any special treatment as such. As long as you keep on top of the servicing, it will treat you well :)
