So would you say 50mm is "what you see"? I have an 18-55 and a 70-300 and the gap is noticeable. But even setting my kit lens to 50mm and using manual focus, I find it a little augmented

I had this on my 1.6 and it turned out to be the quantum factor pully that sits just behind the DMF. It's an easy change

Chains are silent.... cylinder number 1 is a different story. I think its been run low on oil before because its a little tappy/rattly. I knew about this though and factored the cost of a replacement lump into the deal. So I will run it til it pops, then maybe get a 2.8 24v in there from a 4mo

Did they fill out a pre-service inspection report noting any damage to the car? If not, then they dont have a leg to stand on. If they did and the damage wasnt noted, then it's been caused in their care. Speak to Renault UK
