just seen this thread...... I know how dealerships are run and about the franchises that are bought from Reno....but wtf are Renault doing????? Their network is full of uninformed 'technicians', are they that blind to customer service that they don't realisise that the front end of the company...
You don't offer 12 month paint guarentees, that are insurance approved for a start so how is the same exactly? That's not even getting on to the actual process and products you use.
that's because they haven't tried it. - Do you like Caviar? Have you tried it? if both answers are different...
i can only say this. I've never heard of anyone posting possitive comments about Supaguard.
I've never heard of anyone posting negative comments about Permagard that has actually had the treatment done by the authorised franchises. Out of the the 30 or so owners of cars that i've pointed...
i was genuinely asking the question ben, it's not sarcasm.... just wondered why everyone - even the major brand mft's use powder coating and baking and not spray paint.... any thoughts?
Why do Porsche, Ferrari, Lamo etc all powder coat their wheels and not just spray them then? I'd be very interested to know as I assume, being bespoke designs for limited production run cars they'll not sacrifice on quality over cost....
see what it does to the half inch deep dent in my bonnet then lol.
At the end of the opinions are opinions. I've been driving cars for 13 years and have tried everything under the sun, including spending 14 hours straight treating one car to the lifestyle that only Joan Collins gets. The best...
I've done 3k since my service and it hasn't needed topping up yet. I had to do it every couple of thousand with the oem stuff - having said that the engine naturally uses more when it's being run -in.
Best example is what sold me to it...
My mates dad used to clean his LS430 with washing up liquid! not bull, he had his car professionally waxed every 6 months or so but the swirls marks would always return - hense the few hundered quid to get rid of them again. He then had the permagard...
Without getting into very techinical details about the chemical make up of the product, its basically easier to compare Supagaurd to Permagard as they are based around the same process of using polymers instead of organic waxes as the base.
Dimondbrite and Autglym are the latter. Meaning that...
following your advice terrorist: google seach results - here's a sample about permagard:

glad you came back with a responce, yes i run my own business, 3 of them in fact and they all have the culture of the best quality over cost.
Supergard is pants - being a professional valleter you'll know that though. I paid £130 without the glass treatment for permagard from Graham in...
I switched to it at my 12k and i hae noticed subtle differences. The car feels smoother, mpg has improved slightly also. The real test will be at 72k though - seeing what the engine looks like then compared to car on standard oil will be interesting.
no disadvantages, all in all the better mpg...
can i just ask why wait on the service - the more a car is serviced..
1. the more it'll be worth when you sell
2. the more efficent it runs
3. the less you'll be harming the engine
4. the more time the niggles the car might have, which you don't know about, have time to become problems.
Just...
i like CTR's, i must say though that i've never had one keep up with me when trying and there's been a few. In a straight line its even but they either bottle it round bends or have to back off, as with most stuff to be fair....
sorry to say but that's what you get with insurance bodyshop repairers. They do 1/2 a job charge the insurer over the odds who have already screwed them down to even get to work on the car.
DO NOT USE INSURANCE BODYSHOPS!!!, its you right to choose which ever bodyshop you want to do the work...
you clearly are not doing permagard. It's a unique product that's is different to Supagard, the only other polymer based product in the automotive industry.
Zymol etc are wax based!!!
If you're so sure its permagard - do you offer the same guarentee, cert's and insurance benefits that the...
lee, i understand where your coming from - i had three on the go at one time. Now down to one but that'll be going to two when the Trophy get's a bit older, then it'll become the w/e toy.
I'd personally go with an E36 M3 as a second car if i was doing it now as they can be had for less than a...
been venting fury at this again on trophy.co.uk today. you sure it was the same one as on pistonheads? I'm led to believe that it was done by a company for sale not by a customer on request, which leads me to believe that there could be more than one sick owner out there!
If i see he aint...
