handbags people, as with anything if some thing isn't new it can be got for any price the seller cares to sell it for.
Brand new they are £1400 each, if you got them for a total of sub £700, you've got a bargain. If though they've been hammered for those 5k miles (which you'll never be able to...
Not critisising or anything as I think it looks ok does the site..............
.....but, how is a car with 4 times the owners has a dedicated wed site with 4 times less members than clio trophy? doesn't anyone know of it?
Perhaps the owners of Trophy's are more of a dedicated bunch that are...
any one how to put/splice different mpg's so they become one? i.e. I have 4 which are different snippets of the same track action. I want one film...... any ideas?
yeh, he's on ClioTrophy, it's not this one. He's got an absolute bargain - bought it through a ford dealer. Dealers really are ignorant of the industry.
beat ya, i had mine down to 14 at cadwell.... whole tank in under 200 miles:o
generally though its 32-35 mpg. sub 80mph on a run and you'll see 38-40mpg.
does anyone know of anyone that has gone from a 172/182 to a 197? without a good exuse like they're car being a write-off or something?
I'm not aware of anyone.....
just changing the senario - anyone know how much the original Reno5 Turbo fetches, not the GT2???? nearly double the original purchase price!!! they made only about 600 of them. The trophy = 500 right hand drive ones. We are not talking about a mass marketed edition, or even an exclusive...
buy the Trophy, sell the suspension and Recaro's and you've made the difference. You'll have a newer car though, problem solved. Oh wait a minute..... the whole point of the car is that it's got things on it that you can't buy without spending a fortune, more than the car's actual value...
the rear supsension on a trophy is fron the standard 182 cup. It's the front dampers and springs that's upgraded.... If you've paid extra for trophy rear dampers you've been had. The fronts though are £1400+ each and, from what i'm told, Reno won't officially sell them to non Trophy owners...
lmao - clued up? that aint even a Trophy. It's a reg 182, faulse advertising, should be sued for that.
Phone 'em and ask them which number it is, why have they switched the wheels, why no mention of the Sachs dampers - perhaps they've switched them also, and why have they resprayed it...
Trophy everytime mate, drive all of them.... down to personal preference but anyone who has driven one will say Trophy. The cost of just the recaro's and front suspension are something like £4k, sum of it's part are worth it.
Main differences are the trophy has remote shocks (£3k for the...
i know a guy with a home cinima - proper 40 seater cinima, he uses a projection TV cause he couldn't find anyone to make large plasma, lol I told him to wait :)
if your going to do it, yes good advice. I'd still say if your trying to get more speed, know what your doing first.
Slicks take some of the fun out of track days. I'm talking from experience not theory. You can't have as much fun with them and when you hit the limit your gone before you know...
so's driving a 911 GT3, the point is if you're after more speed on track an instructor is the first point of call. It's like with golf, tennis etc. No point in spending money on decent kit until you know what to do with it.
Slicks can hurt the car yes, but probably wont have any noticable...
