Until you get to the special cars (Aston Martin, etc) I've not driven anything that felt so perfectly balanced as a road car. Just the right amount of grip, power, size.

Had the Octavia remapped by shark. Absolutely superb. Feels quicker than my mapped r26 did. Does the golf have a small fuel tank? I'm getting 34ish mpg, 380 to a tank.

Its the assumption that leasing is cheap. And I think folks can rationalize a porsche, Aston etc at 600 monthly.

Its the difference in thinking between buying a normal (sub 10k outright) and financing a much pricier car. In the context of the outright price, I'd say 600 pcm is cheap. Everyone got batshit excited about renting a Fiesta for 200ish a month. In that context, the m5 is cheap.

Every time I see one, I miss mine a little. But I don't miss the potential bills doing 100+miles a day in it. I'll have another one day, for weekend use only. Late cs, manual, uprated brakes, standard everything else.

How long does g5 last for? Never tried it. Can you use it over g1? So a long lasting base and g5 as a top up?

I like g1. Never had any issues with application, just have to take your time. Lasts for bloody ages.

Or given the time of year, stick some winters on the 197 wheels.

No, the x-treme vision. I've used night breaker before, they're pretty much as bright as the philips but didn't last as long (4 bulbs in one year in a focus). But not sure if that was a problem with the car or the bulb.
