Fog lights illuminate about 3m in front of the car. Unless the 'lanes' are populated by ied's and you're going 3mph, they won't help. Sounds like the fella has seen a fog light driver, and decided to ruin his day. Understandable.

I think it's difficult to disguise the bulk of the 5 series, and the m3 class have always looked more aggressive than the m5 size cars.

It's the difference between a mass produced motor and a special motor. Granted they aren't as special as they used to be, but the forces going on within that motor are vastly different to a 'normal' engine.

I found even on older cars it's an issue. When I sold the e46, it's one of the first questions everyone asks.

There's nothing wrong with roll on a road car, at all. For everyone that isn't Vettel in disguise it's useful for judging grip etc. I imagine the softer setup makes it quicker than the stats would suggest, loads of traction and the ability to soak up poor surfaces.

I'd save yourself some money and get a 172. Mechanically the same car, but the exhaust is cheaper when it falls off! Spend the money saved on brakes and a bucket seat, and away you go.

No, r53 carriers (that are specific to the jcw upgtade). R56 carriers won't fit. The r56 calipers are the same as the r53 upgrade, but with different carriers. There's a guide on mini torque showing exactly what's needed.

Aren't the wheels you've got the lightest oe option? I have some r56 calipers you could have for £50.
