Anyone recommend a code reader/diagnostic machine

Can anyone recommend a decent code reader/diagnostic machine? I don't want some cheap £10 thing and I would like it to read engine, abs and airbag codes (and erase them). I've found one on ebay (link below) but not sure if there is just as good machines that are cheaper, or better ones for similar money. Any help is appreciated.

If your thinking of spending that sort of money then surely a clip clone would make more sense?

Clip is renaults software. You can get copies of the required cables and software on eBay for less than that tool, however it will only work on Renaults.

Ah right. I was looking for something that works on most makes of cars as I fix a lot of friends/family/work colleagues cars and wanted something more than just a simple code reader.

I've got one made by autolink costs about £60 good obd reader easy to use I would recommend that
