We went past you twice in the Vee to see if you had a CS sticker. Looked v.clean. There was a green Mk1 parked further up with tints as well.
Anyone?

Guys,
Any rough idea what the G5's are going for at the moment? We're looking at a replacement for the elderly G4 here and it will be a 9 to 5 Adobe b**ch - Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
Ideally dual CPU and a beefy amount of HDD space and onboard memory.
Cheers,
D.
Well Sega certainly couldn't have made a simulation with a brand name like that. It makes the likes of Gran Turismo and Ridge Racer look like the most difficult driving games on the planet.
It's definite Sega. By that, the old-time gamers (like me) who were around for the original arcade...
Has anyone got experience of an nVidia 570 (or 590) SLi motherboard? Are there any pros & cons over the usual nVidia nForce 4 SLi setup? I'm thinking purely from a gaming point of view and without overclocking, really.
Cheers,
D.
Anyone know of the best place to get one from? Mine's been in my 182 for about 15 months, so rather than clean it (like I posted in my own dumbass thread :p ) - it will be easier just to buy a new one.
Cheers..

We're honoured by the presence of the finest 182 that money can buy.
First time I've spotted it at the top of our road, and no CS stickers on that I could see.
'55 plate....

Good to hear that the chaps who went to E3 headed to the GTR2 stand first.
Looked good on the bits they showed on telly last night, though apparently a full review will be on next month's 3DMotors. They did say that the graphics on GTL looked better than those they saw on GTR2, which...
Coming home from work tonight. Just got through the lights near Fairfield Hospital and the George & Dragon pub and spotted a muchos-lowered Willy on the other side of the road. When it set off, there was a distinct whistle-noise spooling up - making me immediately think that it was turbo'd...
If only it stayed that way! :D
It tripped over the 17,000 mark on the motorway and for some reason, reset all the trip, mileage, mpg etc. Must be a standard Reno thing - either that, or mine got that fed up waiting to be reset - it did it itself.
D.
Does it need cleaning and if so, how often and what with?
Mine's been in there for about 15k now. Just wondered if it needed a trip to the laundrette?
Cheers,
D.
Thought you'd been abducted m8! Haven't seen the RUG in ages - literally a good month and more. I thought you may have even got a different job!
Waved to you this morning, but I think you were concentrating more on the idiots at that roundabout to notice me.... ;)

Spotted 4 close together. Lee's Trophy, Maz's 182, a 172 Cup behind (who's is that?) and the black modded dCi Clio behind that one?
Spotted the occassional RS amongst the parked cars - one black gold 182 that had a reg plate that made up the name MATT with a Hill Power sticker on tha back...
Came past me on the outside lane just past the Ramsbottom sliproad. Looked well in the sun - thought it was a Trophy from a distance in the rear mirror!
Driving a works Mondeo at the time, so I didn't let on. Went past me rather quickly and I was doing circa 85mph....
Anyone?

Guys,
Anyone got the part number (and make) of a replacement bulb for a front sidelight on a 182? I noticed mine had gone yesterday. I take it that these would be available through Halfords?
Cheers,
D.
Anyone have links to any news yet? Supposedly today is THE day that the world gets to see the new PlayStation. Should be interesting to see how it compares to the 360....

As a request from our MD, he's after two of the new Mac notebooks, presumably the Intel dual-core ones that I'd guess work with Windows domains and Exchange 2003?
He's after a small, portable one at work and one for home that can resemble the dimensions of an aircraft carrier if need be.
Cost...
Right guys, I could do with some input with regards to updating my PC around September time.
I'd say 90% of it's usage will be for playing games and I'm only thinking of replacing the internals - not the monitor or anything. I'll be looking at a new mobo, new CPU, new memory and obviously a...
Washed the car as normal. Then broke open my new pack of Megs clay - tore a third off it and made it soft under the hot water tap. I took out a clean bucket of very diluted AutoGlym bodywork shampoo and tepid water (along with a jug of hot water to dip the clay in every now and then) and...
I had the window down and waved to the thank the car behind for letting me out and then I spotted you at the lights. So, I waved again. I probably looked a right tool..... ;)

Sorry for being vague on this guys, but I'm convinced that something's not quite right with the suspension on the driver's front side.
As a comparison, it feels like that front tyre is running low on pressure, but they are all a healthy 31psi all-round. It's almost like the car feels like its...
What do you expect me to do with that?!
I opened up the Megs Super-Absorbant-Triple-Layer-Comfort-Water-Guzzler cloth for the first time after washing my car today. I expected a small square of cloth - not a bloody beach towel! I was in two minds whether or not to cut it in half, but I thought...
We've got a knackered external DVD-RAM drive on a G4 here. Normally, we'd just get a new firewired DL DVD drive as a replacement, but they've got plenty of DVD-RAM discs with information on them.
Has anyone got any suggestions of a make & model of external DVD-RAM drive that still might be for...
