But the point I was making was really that they can handle just as well as a 1*2. I know it's kind of irrelevant but I bet a 1.2 with coilies and decent rubber would out corner a 1*2 on standard suspension. That's why I said it in the first place, I was just trying to support my case for him...

Why???? A 1.2 with a good suspension set up, ARB and completely stripped. My point was that it will handle just as well as a 1*2 but without the straight line speed. This has been said many times on this forum before.

Prolines look more or less standard, 15mm drop on a FF, 5mm on a cup/cup packs. Sportlines are a 35mm drop though.... That's only 5mm less than these Apex's!

Nope. Standard cup turinis. The rear arch gap looks bigger in this picture cos of the shadow. The arch gap is about the same as the front.

Sell the 182, get shot of the micra. Then buy a ph1 172. You've got £3k in your pocket and you've got rid of a car. £231 a month seems an awful lot for a 182 mate. PCP on a 200 isn't a whole lot more than that!

Ph2 172 is better looking than the 182 IMO. Don't like the two exhausts. Your decision is this.... Slightly lighter, slighted faster, slightly better handling = 172 cup A LOT more luxury and gadgets = 182FF I found the insurance was more or less exactly the same for both cars... About £20 in...
