But you don't have abs!!! How could it use the abs rings to do anything if it doesn't have them?!
I really don't understand what it is that you're asking....
I've read a lot of good things about kw. From what I've found they seem to be the best compromise between road comfort and outright performance too....
Most people agree that there's very little between the 182 FF and the 182 cup, especially if you're planning on modifying it. It's certainly no worse than a cup IMO.
I know this is going to end up with a huge argument, but I need peoples opinions...
I'm 99% buying dannyR's 'charged engine. With the extra 160hp I guess it would be a good idea to buy some coilovers..... Lol.
So, I use the car as a daily at the moment but only for a couple of months. I'll...
I wouldn't say there was anything wrong with it mate, they just do that if you try and rush the synchros. If only there was a sensibly priced replacement :(
I'd love to find a way of mating a CTR 'box to the engine. Would be glorious!
£50 for an amp??? Where are you doing your shopping???
I'd have said more like:
Sub £100
Amp £100 - £200
Enclosure - cost of a sheet of mdf
Wiring - £35
Unfortunately mate, it's not really possible to help you without being there. It's massively unlikely that anyone has used that same...
Lol. I don't think 2 12'' jl audios is necessary lol.
I would definitely sell the stuff you have and buy 1 good sub, 1 good amp and some components though.
Quality, not quantity, always.
Just as a side note, gain is not the same as volume, your gains should be set once using a multimeter and...
I can't say I've ever heard of lowtec, but the Germans always make good stuff. The v-maxx are really only for looks, apparently they're far too soft for any series use, although I havent driven with them myself.
I'd go with the lowtec ones, just because they're german.
I'd keep the f1's tbh!
In terms of modding, as said, get it in tip top shape first.
Then, colour coding and lowering is the way to go.
They look best kept simple.
Lol. Just have a troll on the Internet and see if you can find the size it's supposed to be mate. It's worth doing properly.
What amp is it by the way?
I'd just use one of the subs.... You won't gave enough power out of that amp to run both properly.
Right, so you're interested in volume than SQ then?
Basic points....
- ported gives more volume, sealed gives better SQ.
- If the ported box is tuned to a lower frequency, you get better SQ, higher frequency, more volume. I'd go for somewhere between the two, around 32/33hz.
- the tuning of...
No it's not.... A ported enclosure is better.
If you're considering making your own box, you need to know the capacity that they're supposed to run in and the frequency that you want it tuned to.
If it's looooow bass that you want, go for something around 30hz.
What sort of music are you in to?
