This was my reason for asking, Ive been out today and thought sun is shining - I must get my wheels changed. I looked at the temp gauge in the car and it only read 5 degrees.
Just wondering if anyone who has got them still have their winter tyres on?
I was going to take mine off during that hot spell a couple of weeks ago, but with a holiday coming up (last week) around snowdon I decided to leave them on. Glad I did as there was still plenty off snow about when we...
I hate selling my cars to someone I know - I always feel guilty if something breaks.
Sold a Punto to a friend once and the power steering broke....I felt bad until she reminded me that they'd had it for 3 years without any problems.
I bought a 306 Gti a few years ago from some wideboy in Nottingham. Didn't realise until a few days later it no Tax on it....my fault for not checking.
It wasn't up to my usual high standards really (although never broke down), I knew I'd made a bit of a mistake when I pulled in to put some...
this is reason why people who can be bothered are now stripping and selling their old car's in parts - depending on the car your stripping you can make more money than selling it whole (I know I did).
it's the same as trading in a car, your dealing with a business they are not going to give you anywhere market value. They buy of you cheap and sell on to car dealers quickly making some profit then the car dealer makes more profit when they sell it again.
I think the best one I've had was I...
my seatbelt has started playing up, the other day no matter how I pulled at it (slow/fast/up/down) it would only move half an inch then lock. It took bleedin ages to get it out to put it on. Then the day after all was fine. Then the next afternoon same again locking up at the slightest pull...
been to York today and on the A64 heading west over about a mile/mile and a half I counted 15 of the silly b******s dead at the side of the road.............group suicide me thinks.
maybe it's just me but every time I see a R32 i think - drug dealer!
Saw another one today, tints, 4 big blokes in it giving everyone the death eye, driver was a skinhead with tattoos down his neck and driving like a tool....just a bit stereotypical but that's my thoughts.
I'm currently looking for a new laptop, the Dell I've got is 4 and a half years old and has a 2.00 Ghz processor and 1GB of Ram, at the time this laptop cost £650 so it was what I regarded as a fairly decent spec (well to me it was).
The ones I've been looking at now generally have from 2.2...
As an off shoot from this you could start taking photos of people who park in disabled parking spaces (while they are still parking up). See how many you get before you get smacked by some chav (can you still use that word these days thanks to Plan B).
Re: Z4 - Perfect No More (But it's being fixed so it's all OK)
Think yourself lucky my dad got a Kia pride courtesy car once, complete with white wall tyres. It was ace.
I love driving in the highlands, got a holiday booked for early summer in Aviemore. Problem is I'm taking a caravan, a wife and two kids, still I know I'll enjoy it.
didn't some recent Peugeot's go through a spate of setting themselves on fire, I think it was either 406' or 206's. I saw that ginger haired b**ch on about it on watchdog a few years ago.
On mine if you looked under the dash on the drivers side there was an open slot about 2 inch by 4 inch. I presumed that it should have had a cover if some kind (I never got round to fixing it). I first noticed it on mine when I drove to Newquay, I set off at midnight and was wearing shorts and...
I've had this and had a thread about it some time ago. Mine looked like it had a infill plate missing from up behind the dash, didn't half give a draft when it was cold outside.
