    Engine coolant. Help!

If it's just below the min I wouldn't worry. Get some of the proper Type D stuff from Renault. It's only about £12 for 5l of ready mixed stuff.

East Midlands - Rolling road day - 16th of November

How many cars have we actually got that are running, it can't really tell from the thread! Also, how long does it take per car? Just trying to work out what time this will run on until that's all. My brother wants to come down but it working until lunch. Chris

Cambelt is 72k or 5 years, so it should definitely have been done by now. 100k is nothing these days on most cars. Keep on top of the maintenance and like most cars it will go on for double that.

    197 f1 £3800

Still Cat D though.... so only ever going to be worth 70% of a non cat d. Ok if you plan on keeping it forever but not if you plan on selling it on. I'd rather be spending £6k on a decent, non damaged lower mileage car personally

    sun strip banner!

Then put it in the bin! They never have and never will be 'in fashion'. Most will fail an MOT too! Buy some sun glasses or put down the visor would be my advice. But then, it's your car - your choice!

    Hit By Uninsured Driver!!!

Why the hell are solicitors involved but the insurance companies aren't? Mental. Get the police involved and set your insurance on the job. You'll get it sorted, don't worry.

    197 f1 £3800

It does say full service history, but I doubt the belts have been done. It could be a bargain, it could be a nail - who knows. £3,800 is a very good price in my opinion even with 97k on the clock if it's in ok condition.

    Gearbox or clutch?

Probably the lower or upper engine stabiliser, mine does it (not for much longer) get it sorted quick if it is that otherwise the flexis will split and you'll need the manifold repairing! might not be that, but it's a possibility
