So I’ve just listened to the interview. They got gauges from smiths(iirc) but they didn’t make a boost gauge until BOM asked for one. When it arrived the numbers were a slightly different font, it was LED backlit and all the gauges did different gauge sweeps when you turned the ignition on...

Ironically there was a massive shitfit on one of the Volvo groups last night because someone said ‘Your R-Design C30 is not an R, please stop’ in big letters. There were a depressing amount of people defending it.

The amount of utter mongoloids who call their C30/S40mk2/V50/C70mk2 Volvo an ‘R’ because it has the R-design trim package is absolutely f**king rife. Aside from the fact that there isn’t an R model of those cars, it’s generally not even a fast one either, it’s always the 1.6d owners doing it.

It's an old video he reposted. Interestingly he's got his MR2 set up to achieve similar boost at idle, but he claims he's doing it just through throttle bypass which is pretty wild. The rocket setup is mega impressive to see used in person though.
