not sure mate, my adaptor has 4 metal pins on it. They can be taken out i noticed which is probably for replacing purposes. Only 1 has bust but I had trouble getting the nuts off without damaging the other 3.
When I took the car in I explained to the bloke and he said it should be ok but...
RT, 16v, williams and 172 I think mate.
I had nearly 2 grand to spend and I rang twice and emailed 3 times with no reply with a quote.

do u mean ur havin probs with the main dials or the 3 oil ones mate?
sounds like u have a bulb out mate. mine were all ok and i swapped the lot for willy ones. Thought id checked em all but the middle oil is dull. iv got a spare bulb just need to fit it.
The inlet is ok but the exhaust manifold just looks a bit rusty.
Think ill get some heat wrap.
Ill see if the post office has a tube, good thinking mate!
phase 1 and 2 have different ones but they all fit. Phase 1 has the reno and clio badges on it and the phase 2 is a carbon look! If you have a phase 1 get a phase 2 one on and its debadged :-)
I cant afford a new manifold on top of everything else iv just forked out for so what can I do to mine to make it look that bit nicer? Rub down and paint? What sort of paint is needed, heat resistant for a guess?
Anyone done anything else at all??

All you need to do is take off the top dash (5 star screws) and the plastic round the console. Then unscrew the two screws that hold the clocks in, get ur hands behind and unplug all the connectors including the speedo cable. And the clocks are out.

Top bloke. He can get you alsorts of bits. He got me Kent cams, verniers, performance cam belt, ARP rod bolts, all at a decent price. Kept me informed and sent stuff out straight away!!!

If you look on BB website. They charge something like £30 for part and £300odd for it fitted. That tells me its hard as fuk to fit!! hehe

More torque, usually have more BHP than on paper too! Iv been in the car with Craggy and the Williams is fast as fook.
Adi has just swapped his 1800 16v for a Williams and is impressed! Maybe a modded 16v would beat a standard Williams though!
I believe its a bit of a pain in the arse. I fitted one on my old RT and it was a Nightmare. The RT has twice the space under the bonnet than the valver so its probably twice as hard!
