Purple was never a Renault colour at the time. Its obviously b****cks, but just for a bit of fun, whoevers going to see it, ask to see the limited edition Renault paint code on the VIN plate.
Nice , two opposite opinions and both helpful. So Cliocup what seats have you got in your valver? And same question to you Malice (I mean what model of Cobra seats are they?)
So the H frame actually mounts on top of the factory sliders then? Surely that would make the whole seat higher up?
Im thinking about putting a pair of buckets in my Clio once its back on the road again, has anyone put say Cobra fixed race seats in a 16v or Williams? Can you get a proper tailored subframe and does it mount really low in the car or does it sit at the same height as the standard seats? And how...
There is no doubting that if you can achieve a better burn, should I say more efficient burn, then youre going to increase fuel economy and performance. Not both at the same time though, but you can have one or the other which is definitely worth having. The question is, does the Ecotek improve...
Err spot on. Its not a hard one to remember!
Anyway theres a thread on here from a few weeks ago about my drive of the BB Clio Turbo. Find the thread to get the full run down, but lets hope it suffices to say that its stupidly quick. Just outrageous, something like that shouldnt even be...
Nice colour. No, gorgeous colour! Jap style front bumper not really my thing...IMHO doesnt sit well with the rest of the car which otherwise would be an example of old-school smooth Euro-style executed perfectly, especially lacking a big spoiler on the roof, which makes it a slick motor. Please...

I run a Williams box in my valver. Ever since I knackered my 16v gearbox when the driveshaft shed its bearings. Its a straight fit though, no problems fitting the Williams box to the 16v lump.
Anyway, the Williams is *definitely* a longer final drive. 1st, 2nd and 3rd seem to be closer and...
New gearboxes can be had from Renault for around £600 on exchange now. Or at least thats what my brand new Williams box cost, straight off the production line in France.

Sounds like a stitch up. If he was going to prosecute you would have been given a Notice of Intended Prosecution there and then. If one doesnt arrive within 14 days then you got away with it. Even if they do try it on, there are so many holes in the case against you, theres no way they could...
This is so exciting - and Ive never even driven an ABS equipped car! Ive got the perfect answer though, an ABS switch. Equip every car with ABS and an override switch on the steering wheel. Then as youre about to crash, you can press the button to turn off the ABS and take your chance without it...
Well Cliosport members get discount at pretty much every tuner that matters - so that means Hill Power and BB Tuning will both give you a discount. But its down to you who is more convenient or who you want to use. Both know their stuff.
Seeing as Ive had both cams and nitrous at the same time...

the bigger of the two pipes is the idle speed control valve. It does need connecting up really cos that pipe pulls air through to bypass the throttle to keep it idling right under all conditions. Therefore if its not plumbed into the back of the filter it will be drawing in unfiltered air. There...

Well I havent got a bloody clue - Im an old driver and Ive never had ABS so I suppose im just used to knowing what the road surface is and driving/braking according to that.
Still IMHO it seems a bit odd to not want ABS...isnt it a safety feature, meaning in those occasions which the vast...
