Well as you might know, I *seriously* looked into this a few weeks ago when sizing up my options for an engine rebuild. Best bet to me seemed to be a Weber Alpha kit - tailored for the Clio 16v and as far as I can see includes *everything* you need. Im sure you could mess about scraping all the...
Super L are the lightest OZ but Crono are very close behind and come in more sizes I think.
Vauxhalls traditionally run high offset so anything to suit them may suit the Clio but the PCD is probably different. I think best bet is to get the wheels you want then machine them down to 48 offset.

Is there a picture of them anywhere, actually in place on a 16v or Williams? I definitely want some - in January I think once my cars back on the road.

OK just to clear everything up:
MOT - doesnt matter whether youve got a cat or not, but on post-91 cars, cats were standard and emissions regs tighter. If your car can still pass the emissions test without a cat then no worries. If it cant, either get a bent ticket or stick the cat back on for...
Well i didnt recommend nitrous cos it might be within your budget now, but once you get the bug it can work out expensive having to keep filling up the bottle! Cams are a good idea if youre doing the swap yourself. If youre doing the work yourself then a 2.0 bottom end and exchange 270 cams can...
The phase 1 turbine wheels are the nuts and all you need to do is slam your Clio to make them look wicked. There was a thread on here somewhere with a link to a thing that would show you different wheels, and allow you to change the suspension height as well. It was only a week or two ago and it...
The weird button is from a R19 trip computer thing. I wasnt aware that Clios ever had that button on their stalks. But maybe Im wrong? Anyway either Renault put a 19 stalk on later Clios even though they already had a perfectly good almost identical Clio one, without the extra useless button; or...

I read the first page then this last (5th) page of the thread, I can imagine whats been discussed in between. Anyway all I can say is firstly, Rob (above) your comments are bang on.
And secondly, it always amazes me how people seem to get so over-excited over threads like these, like its some...

hehe the Donny boys remember this one when we got pulled the night before the show cruising round the town...but if you run completely *false* number plates, the coppers kind of forget about any illegal spacing!

If you are serious about wanting more noise then just drill some holes in your airbox (on the outside of filter side). Wont do you any favours in terms of power, cos itll let hot air in instead of cold, but it should be louder.
WHy not just get an induction kit and keep your old air box in the boot. If you ever stack it just swap the induction round. Its only a couple of bolts, surely? Much easier than changing an exhaust system back to standard.
