From what Ive seen (in France mainly) its a pretty even match. Which is obviously why theres such a 172/CTR rivalry! Possibly the 172 needs more work to keep level than the CTR? I dont know... Ive not driven either.
Anyway, it will be down to the driver so get down to your local industrial...
OK so instead of messing about with cams why dont they just have all the valves controlled electronically with solenoids or magnets or something, so you can just time the valves to give optimum power at every point in the revs and have it all controlled by the ECU? Or has someone already...

Total fuel capacity is 50 litres. That consists of one main tank and one reserve tank which is lower down. Under the car you can see the two tanks. Assuming its totally empty when you put the petrol in, the reserve tank fills first, once its full then the main...

Paddy, no worries on that score at York, thats why everyone whos been, keeps going back again and again...you get so many runs you eventually have to take a break from it! They run whatever the weather, and dont stop for lunch breaks or a speck of dust on the track. And its a lot drier than...
Not my specialist subject Brun but if I were you Id get down to one of those places that does a free brake check so you can rule out simple stuff first.
