I think what people are trying to say Mike, is that the v6 panels are simply stuck onto the standard clio panels... so is kind of a 'twin skin' if you like. Whether thats true or not I don't know, which is why it would be interesting to see a 'naked' pic of a v6.
The chassis is different to...
LOL not even a sprinkling of snow... I didn't even have to scrape the car this morning! Slightly smug sat here hearing/reading all the snow stories on the news.
still f**k all snow down here in Bournemouth... although we're expecting a massive 20cm overnight apparently. It'll never happen, but it keeps the Met Office busy.
I don't see the problem. Sure, it would be annoying that they damaged it but they've said they would fix their mistake.
Let them rectify it, then decide if you're happy with it after that.
indeed... no need to stitch him up to the old bill now that he's done the decent thing and admitted it.
If I were you, when your car goes in for repair (with him paying), ask the bodyshop to quote you for fixing the paintwork on the other corner... will work out cheaper for you to fix this way.

Conti SportContact 1, 2 or 3?
reason I ask is because the SportContact 2 were never fitted as standard to the RS range, however are the most readily available from most places. The other 2 were standard fitment on the...
fronts probably have about 60% left. The rears are pretty much rotten, covered in cracks on the sidewalls and ready to pop.
Interesting theory about replacing all 4 at the same time regardless... why would I waste tyres with 5mm tread left on them, seems like throwing away £200 imo.
I'm sorry, are mods not allowed to start new threads?
Thanks for everyone's advice, I'll be putting them on the rear as it's the rear ones which are worn anyway. Interesting to see differing opinions though, with different reasons.
you've just made me get the credit card out and buy the 2 new rear tyres which are long overdue... mine are cracking badly on the sidewalls. You've probably just saved my life.
Well caught too, can't have been easy in the fast lane.
Mine came on at the beginning of December randomly. It stayed on for a week then cleared itself
It came on again yesterday and hasn't gone off yet. Standard 182 exhaust.
I'm not bothered about it.
