If you purchase it from the DVLA then the registration fee is included in the price of the plate. Otherwise it's £80.
You can get a set of plates made up for about £20 usually.

Dan, the foamy I have is/was my practice board. Its so boyant you really can't do much wrong with it. You're welcome to borrow it if you're learning down this way :D
They sit too high, aren't very supportive, and the performance/cost doesn't make sense to fit them aftermarket. You can get much better seats out there for similar or less money.
Saying that, they do look fantastic in the clio.
if it were my car I would reverse what you've done, start with a clean slate and do the following...
