I'm not arguing they're the best tyre in the world, just that the W's are cheaper than the V's.
There's another pinned thread to discuss which is the best in the world ;)
They should have all had the auto lights and wipers.

yes, this is what I've been askign the tyre places.
I was told that the difference in feel would be the same as putting the pressure up by less than 1psi in the V rated ones. In other words, you would be hard pushed to notice the difference in feel.
Right, I've been doing some research...
Normally I (and most others on here?) would buy the V rated PE2 for the 182. These are for speeds up to 149 mph.
However, I have been ringing round for quotes and have been told by nearly every place that strangely, the W rated version is quite a bit...
how is it pointless? The point you think is missing is the following:
Its winter. Temps drop during the winter and there's a high chance of snow/ice on the roads. Winter tyres are designed to perform in these conditions. If you decide not to run winter tyres thats your choice, but they're far...
ignition to on, flick them on and off twice and listed for the beep.
The early ones didnt come with them during the transition from the Ph1 172. They don't have Cruise Control, either.
I'm not pointing any fingers here... but a lot of them talk bulls**t tbh. Insurance fronting is still very common, even with the recent publicity around it.
As long as the price reflects the fact they've previously been written off, I wouldn't have a problem buying one.
Saying that, I would only buy a D, not a C.
