Yea the main thing to focus on is getting the volume of the box right, the shape of the boxes will only really make a difference in really high end installs. Im in the process of getting some kick pods sorted for my components too, will get some progress pics of those up tomorrow hopefully...

Its got no front or rear bumper, bump strips, rear spoiler, door mirror covers, front grill or boot lock. Had to strip them all down to take to the bodyshop. The inside is mostly stripped too atm. Should be back in 1 piece Wednesday.

If you reverse mount like I have then you need to reverse the +ve and -ve so that the sub moves in the same direction as the other speakers. Apparently, the quality should be better when mounted with the magnet inside the box, but when I reverse mounted it I couldnt tell any difference. AFAIK...

Cheers guys, its really not that difficult. The hardest part is building the foundations of the shape, not actually fibreglassing them. Will get more pics up later in the week.

Im not sure, but they will prob be for the seat belt light and the airbags I would have thought

Just ordered £50s worth of stuff from CFS, should be plenty for what I need, should be here tomorrow so I can get some more done over the weekend.

Not sure yet, will have to judge as I go along. Got 3 on so far and it is pretty tough but def wouldnt hold up to the vibrations of my sub. Prob go for about 8ish.

The standards are 13s but Ive fitted 17s and not much work is needed, just need to knock up some mdf spacers.

Someone has actually bid 4k for that!

Yep its definately the expensive way to go, I wasnt exactly sure how much I would need as Id never done it before, but I will be making a purchase off CFS later.

Ive got a Phoenix Gold Xenon X12D4 going in. Ive got to find the required dimensions off the Phoenix Gold site. I can just changed the height of the box depending on the required volume.
