It needs to have the non-threaded section on it too, forgot what length that part is though...
And yes they are the same size as Mk1s, im running Mk2 wishbones on a Mk1 subframe and the bolts are the same size..
Its just down to the seller really. I made the same mistake at the start of 2009. Advertised as fully working etc, but the seller was just a lying c**t. Then you try and contact them and they just ignore you, so its just 100% obvious they knew it was f**cked. Thank god for the small claims...

Skimmed the clutch face too...
5.3kg to ~4.3kg. Then nipped it upto the machine shop and had it balanced, sorted.
Have you taken it to the limiter yet when warm? If your car is not getting a speed signal @ the ECU, the limiter will be lower than standard...
I think you could get away with fitting a speed sensor into the back of the Cup box and wiring it directly to the pin on the back of the clocks, that's...
Isnt it just the cam cover thats matched? Saying that ive never had an issue with that either...my rocker cover is from a different engine
Ive put them Schricks in mine, then back out, then completely diff set of standards back in and never had an issue. Did the same to Tooneys too, his Cams...
Not true.
They dont have cam carriers for a start (I assume your talking 172/182), as the Rocker Cover holds the cams down. You will be fine putting a pair of cams from another engine into it, ive done it on a few engines not just my own (all 172).
Then if the Dephaser is knackered it makes...
Might change my username!
With regards to the head...do you mean take the cams from a different engine and put them in the new head? If there is no major scoring then yes its fine
Yeah, get it done at the same time as the cambelt.
They're around £140ish from Renault inc VAT at the moment, so dont let any garages rip you off if they supply it for you...
You'l just have to try it im afraid, if its the same as mine it wont fit :(
I have the same brackets on the F4R, tried to fit a 172 alternator but it sits over too far slightly one way and doesnt line up with the tensioning bracket properly, so im still running the Mk1 alternator!
I think its just one perm feed with no fuse to the stalk. Then the stalk feeds the headlights etc directly (goes out to scuttle panel fusebox on a Mk1) then out of that to the headlight and so on...
Its just a modified standard williams loom at the moment, but its due a re-wire shortly to which...
My cars a Ph2, well 2.5 i think.
Just using the indicator and light stalk, wiper one is removed/stripped from loom.
What do you need to know, what goes to what pin? that all?
