Well you could remove the rail and injectors and then aim them into 4 jam jars and fire them...measure how much fuel they deliver in half a minute to give you an idea of max flow rate? Obviously depressurise the fuel system before you start messing around with it just to be on the safe side - an...
You need the DT motorsport catalogue, not the website, thats useless. Pretty much anything you want is in there.
Alternatively, you could email me and well meet up and Ill have a look over it and give you some ideas...after all, I might only know Clio 16vs and Willys, but Ive been through 3 or...
Most obvious thing is the plug holes if you havent checked them already. About the most vulnerable (to water) part of the engine on a 16v but I dont know about a 1.2...
Yeah wasnt that Edddd at the Ring?
Dunno what Ive had really Aaron, one problem is that on 18s and a Williams gearbox my speedo is out anyway, it always reads lower than the actual speed. Ive seen 137 on the clock, add quite a bit for the wheels etc, take off quite a bit for speedo error...
Its everyones right to undertake - if the person driving in the overtaking lane isnt actually overtaking, or isnt likely to get anywhere near to the car theyre supposedly overtaking (thats a quarter of a mile in front in the slow lane).
I think sitting in the fast lane, holding up faster cars...
hehe youre not the only one Ben! My wife Amanda cant stand my Clio. Well not the car itself, she likes Clios and used to drive my old RT. Just the amount of time I spend on it. Shes only ever come to *one* Cliosport thing...the meal up in York a couple of weeks ago. She had absolutely zero...

Seems fair enough...maybe we should swap cars as well...hehe fat chance, even my wife doesnt get in the driving seat! You mentioned a lot earlier on about getting a reading from the MAP sensor. Now Ill have no problem hooking it up and leaving a multimeter in the scuttle panel getting a peak...
I run Black Diamond combis on the front with Ferodo DS2000 pads all round, steel hoses and DOT 5.1 fluid. Its never let me down so far, on the road or on the track. Ive been wanting to get rid of those BD discs for ages cos theyre ugly and small, but the damn things never wear out! BTW the...
well all I know is that going from fairly light factory 15s to bloody great heavy 18s made a very noticeable difference in terms of acceleration off the line. The tyres do grip better down to the extra width even though they are a lower profile and dont really squash much at all. Anyway to get...
Yeah Steve its a special feature. All Clios either have it or they dont. Doesnt seem to really do much except for make a noise. Mine has done it for years and I still dont know where the water is, but it does only do it after its been standing in the rain, not in dry weather.
well still having problems with the codec but big thanks for sending it Matt!
Im running Windows Media 8 at the moment and it wont play so lets see if WM9 will do it?
I cant believe were onto oil again! AAAAAAAARGH NOOOOOOO!
15w50 is what the book says and thats what I use. Plus I have a preference for Mobil 1 anyway which has always kept my engine tip top internally so there we go.
Anyway Brun if you go to the meet I think you should badger Joe into...
LOL youd be better off asking if there is anyone *not* from Essex!
Im in Southend btw. It did start off in the very early days as a kind of Essex/South East thing, but Cliosport has spread its evil influence all over the UK now, loads of members in every area.

OK Joe thats a more thoughtful answer. I am aware of wide band sensors etc and the limitations of the factory lamda sensor and taking a voltage reading off the lamda signal line to the ECU, also the way that what I will call the voltage response curve (you know what I mean) can change. The last...
That sounds like a more reasonable position and well leave it at that on the public forum. But Joe I would like you to PM me about what you think caused a perfectly steady, repeatable reading (whether inaccurate or not) to change noticeably while the scoop was off, then change back again when it...
