hehe cheers Chris!
You wont gain a lot by advancing the ignition as much as you can get away with. But the F7P lump is like Tescos - every little helps.
hehe thats just UK style Butre! Its kind of all or nothing, stick with 15s or go big. But I must say that my 18s are a great ride compared to the stock 15s. Really.
Yeah the Sparco/OMP cages are the real deal. You can go as hardcore as you want, either a simple bolt in half cage or a full weld-in with door bars and a dashboard hoop.
It is a bit weird wanting to have a cage and keep the furniture in the back...all you should have in there is a fire...
Tom its gotta be 15" Speedline or Cromadora (if you wanna stick with the Renault look), then slam it. What about an old set of the OZ 15s that went on the Mk1 172s? Someone must have a set theyre getting rid of for a couple of hundred quid?
I think you hit the nail on the head right there Viceroy. There are a lot of people on here who feel theyve had their threads hijacked in the past or been personally abused though, so they do have a reason to feel upset.
The rules are the rules, if you wanna come on the forum you have to...
Standard wheels on a 16v are Speedline 6.5x15 with a 185/55/15 tyre. (On a Willy with the wider track it was a 7.0x15 wheel.) Loads of people have put 17s on valvers with no trouble at all, its not so weedy that the acceleration will suffer that much, although I suppose it is noticeable if youre...
Well when I first saw one in the showroom, I thought that was a tidy little motor. Then I chuckled to myself about the Extreme label! But you get a lot for your money if youre after a new motor, especially if youre after something with a smaller engine.

I had that same problem when I first swapped my 15s for 18s. Thought it was a loose wheelbolt or a balance or tracking problem but after a couple of times balancing and rebalancing it with no success, I realised that it was the screw that holds the brake disc to the hub! In the original alloys...

Higher octane fuel has greater resistance to knock. Knock can be caused by an over-advanced spark. So to make more power from the same engine, you can advance the spark by altering the program (which HP can do), and as long as you use a higher octane fuel therell be no problem. In fact you can...
PI springs are always good and cheap, mine has been running a 35mmn drop on PIs for years and its the best mod I ever did. Best to change the shocks at the same time for some designed to work with a shorter spring. Koni adjustables are what I use, theyve never let me down.
You can run the...
Well it sounds a bit of an odd request...I wouldnt have thought that a full cage would be compatible with any kind of shelf in the back mainly cos the back seats would have to go as well. You can get cosmetic half cages I cant remember who does them? Maybe Dimma or something? You get to keep...
This isnt the first time this problem has come up. When I had the same sort of thing happen it was a fault simultaneously at the sensor and in the connection behind the gauge pod. Nothing that cant be fixed though.
Happy Birthday to us! We must be the quickest growing club by now as well? Are we at 500 members yet?
Anyway, cheers to all the members who make Cliosport what it is! Speaking as events manager; an extra special thankyou to all our hard-working area reps and indispensible members who have...
Very good price for the kit as long as its brand new and unused. Worth buying just to sell to someone else for £800!
But fitting a wide arch kit is a bit more of a job than a pair of corner splitters - I assume you know that if youre thinking about it! But it will cost you a few quid for the...
What are we talking about, the one on the cover? (BTW Tony, yes yours and Mels Clios are in there)
Well lets compare the two cover Clios this month then (is this a record???)
Revs Clio - totally original in the world of Clio modding, may not be to everyones taste but looks tidy and was...
Mod it however you want, whether its for power, handling or looks, youre the only one who can decide. I know what you mean about going without the hassles of a modded car, Ive always meant to get another car that was just fast as standard, then run my modded Clio and my fast standard car...
