Yeah definitely being a passenger feels quicker, theres no doubt about it in my mind. When youre driving you know when youre gonna feel the acceleration and youre used to it plus youve got the steering wheel to brace yourself with. I dont know about Saxos but assuming that theyve not got quite...

The standard one is one of those paper jobbies. like a big concertina thing. If its green and spongey its something aftermarket...not K&N, not RamAir, not Pipercross, not JR, not Green, so what is it?
So basically if you get hold of the bottom end complete including the starter then its a straight bolt on to the 1.8 head? Then all you need is the Willy ECU. The 1.8 head should fit nicely shouldnt it, no chance of the valves touching anything they shouldnt, cos the Willy head runs more lift...
lol good call Ben - Slarty must be good for blowing something though!:p
Seriously though slayer, lets have a look at your setup. Ive just been through the same kind of problems with my new induction system, in the end I got hold of some 85mm hose which will take a real tight bend and doesnt...
Dont know about the Clio 2 but if its the same as my old Clio, then there are 5 nuts to do. One is in a recess behind the number plate which needs a long socket to get at. There is one each side of the bumper in front of the wheels, which you need to take the sh*tguard out to get to. There are...
Tommy, PM me about it, Im intrigued about your case and I feel it is my duty to try and get as many people off speeding tickets as possible! Over the years Ive formulated a get out for almost every speeding ticket, or at least arguments that will tie them up in red tape for a good long while...
Just saw a white one in Chelmsford today.I dont think Ive ever seen white before, it looked good.
John - yes I see what you mean. But the RSi had those tasty little 5 spoke 14s. I love those wheels and I think the RSi did definitely look quicker than the RT/RN/RL Clios.
Yeah I think thats how they list it in the book Jon. But I have it on pretty good authority that they are brand new (info from a contact with Renault France who supplied my box). And if youve looked at my box youd see that it is absolutely spanking mint. If it was a real exchange/recon deal, how...
Just picked one up, havent read it yet though. But I did notice that in this months Revs they had a report from Donny South and had Tonys and Mels Clios in there, plus on one of the other pages about Clios it had my website down there as well as Cliosport. The only problem was that it was listed...
BTW Jon - remember your motor is by no means a normal Willy! It is way quicker than it should be, no-one knows why but it just is. A strong motor. I think youd find that if you drove a really standard Willy youd be quite surprised at the difference mate.
Yeah Im not allowed to modify my 1.8 to use nitrous, but you 2.0 boys carry on with your larger engines than me, thats fair that is... Oh and maybe on a 172, you better get rid of that cheating variable valve timing as well. In fact lets see how quick a Scooby really is without its turbo - thats...
