Yeah sorry I forgot to make it clearer in my first reply; Cliosport *is* and always will be for *all* Clios regardless of model and engine size. The admin staff and area reps have all sorts of different Clios and thats as it should be. The members have an even greater variety (cos theres a lot...

Errr Samco go up to something around there but youll be looking at around £40. If its just a 100mm pipe that you need and the material isnt important, then go to Homebase or B&Q - in the plumbing/ventilation section youll find 100mm expanding alu hose, just the job, and it does pretty tight...
Yeah the newer Clios run a big Vauxhall style offset of 40-something! SO spacers definitely needed and also a big drop should be the order of the day. Once you cant see the tops of the tyres, those rims will look quality.
An overview of the whole thing and you can see the tight bend thats needed. James - there is a CDA listed for the 16v/Williams but you only get the CDA itself and some feed pipe for the inlet of the CDA; none of the mounting hardware youd need to hook it up to the throttle body. AFAIK BMC do not...
OK there you go - a side view of the beast installed after 3 days hard labour. The hose fits at least, so were onto stage 2 of the operation, Johns gonna make up a proper adapter plate for it so I can replace this hose with some proper Samco. Note the 3 Pipercross breather filters - from left to...
Maggi glad to hear you made it over here! Have you checked all the usual Renault specialists eg. Hill Power? BB Tuning, Ktec? Everything you want is there...
Yeah I do agree with some of the things youre saying Lofty. I think one of the big problems is that Cliosport is not only an online community, but also a real world community as well. There are countless clubs out there who do all their stuff online and might bump into each other once a year...
An interesting point is that the only reason these kind of things happen is because of the tolerance of the moderators and - lets be blunt here - the *owners* of this online facility. IMHO whoever runs the forum has the right to do what they want which would include just banning people who seem...

Samco or SFS. Neither are very quick though, and both are expensive.SFS would be marginally quicker I think they work on a 3 week turnaround at the moment ( I spoke to them the other day). What exactly do you need mate? You might be able to do a custom plumbing job by putting a few off the shelf...
Yeah Ive changed my mind about turbo work. For a NA engine, the true way must be to stick with NA tuning - throttle bodies etc. A turbos one thing, but when you pull the throttle cable and see those 4 bad boy throttle plates twisting...thats something else.
I cant believe it - 3 relevant and useful answers in a row! This must be a Cliosport record!
Matty - yeah the adaptor is basically the mounting gear I got by hacking up the original airbox, some sheet aluminium cut to make a collar and a load of chemical metal stuff to bond it. A real proper...
Lets hope PGTi doesnt start to mess up their distribution like before. If theres one thing that put them out of biz the first time, it was the fact that you never knew when or where it was coming out, and when it did, all 3 copies sold out by the end of the day. Hope they learnt from their...

Yeah maybe we should get together and form an amateur bodging co-operative...hire an abandoned unit in the middle of the country and get over there to work on our cars at the weekend!
Seriously though, I would be happier with the kind of job where I can close the bonnet at the end of the day...
Just get it from Halfords. Thats where I looked when I was thinking of remodelling my front bumper. Theyve got the sheets of it and all the stuff you need. Theres probably other places you could go where the trade get all their stuff but I dont know it.
lol ive not even read most of this thread cos Ive heard all the arguments before. But let me say this. If someone in a 172 toasted someone in a STi7 then they toasted them end of story. Probably the other driver wasnt a very good driver to get outrun by a 172, if so thats his tough sh*t. Makes...
OK after a long, long wait, the BMC CDA (carbon dynamic airbox) has finally arrived from Italy. Matt C already has his plumbed in; his was designed for the 16v, except BMC omitted the crucial element - a means to connect it to the throttle body! He knew about this already and got a throttle body...
Thats the kind of thing I like - people who arent afraid to try and build and mod stuff for themselves and do something no-one else has done. Id say avoid working with metal unless youre good at welding and dont mind it weighing a ton. Pop riveting is a bodge - I know cos Ive tried it!
I think...
