I have 1 x 172 Cup hub, and 1 x Ph1 172 hub on mine at the moment, both are identical.......there is no difference at all.....My wheel definitely isnt sticking out further either...
Plus im running a cup driveshaft on the Ph1 172 hub side, and a 172 Ph1 driveshaft on the Cup hub, it all fits...
For the NW lot, just been past RSTuning earlier this evening, managed it in 50 mins with a clear run....gonna stop for some breakfast on the way and get there just after 9 so I can get my car on in the morning and not have to wait till the end ;)
nah the head bolts will probably be under the rocker cover, so that would have to come off first.....
If you are going to take it off on a weekend and im not doing anything I can pop up and have a look while you're doing it if you want
Williams wheel is 7.1kg without tyre, and turbines are heavier than those. Im guessing it wont be far off the same weight as the 16" RS wheel @ 8.2kg without a tyre to be honest!
Im running Ph2 bottom end with Ph1 head.
Mines a Ph1 cambelt kit im sure, well the belt and tensioner are. Cant remember if the idler was off my Ph1 bottom end and swapped over, i can check tommorow though.
The list is up there.............its easy enough to print it off, tick off when people pay, then put numbers next to people in running order, then cross off once they have run....
Cool, yeah its not as loud as I thought it would be, which is ideal. Video may make it seem loud, but in reality its only loud under load high up in the revs, but I can live with that.
It never gets grip, thats what getting it to 800kg has done, lol.
If your planning on keeping the car for a while, and want to guarantee its going to be fine, swap the headgasket while the cambelt is off lol. They arent much money at all (half the cost of cambelt kit, if that), so you know its perfect.
Literally just undoing 10 headbolts, lift the head off...
