You also sell cars within days of buying them and collect old Volvos and Volkswagen vans, so I don't know how much stock we can put in your experience 😉
Absolutely. I've owned both a 172 Cup and a 197, and also a Meg 265, so probably have reasonable experience.
All have their good and bad points in reality.
They're not too bad now. Just try and buy one with them already done. Other than those, the suspension stuff isn't that different in price to a 1*2 in my experience.
Don't tell @Sunglasses_Ron, as I gave him loads of stick about not having a spoiler on his, but I kinda like them without one...
I have a 197 and I love it, just to go against everyone saying they're not worth it. Yes not quite as willing in a straight line, but a nicer road car, more grip, more planted, and more performance ultimately.
If you want fuel economy, buy a diesel. Oh, and on the gearbox thing, the 1*2 hardly...
Watched a bit of the rally stage this afternoon. Thought it was a bit of a shame the cars didn't run individually as it was so short, as you didn't get to see some of them. Commentator was shockingly bad too. Didn't have a clue what he was talking about.
The aero kit is lovely, but not a cheap thing to add I guess. A friend of mine has a 987 Boxster and he was looking at bits, but even replica stuff can be silly money unfortunately. It's a shame, as I really like it. It just adds some aggression that's missing from the standard car in my view...
Love it. I really want a Porsche and this is exactly the sort of thing I would go for. Yes a 997 GT3 RS would be lovely, but the simplicity and value of these makes them deeply appealing.
I would be aiming for something similar to what Jethro Bovingdon has myself, with the aero kit and some...
The way that picture displays, with the line at the top of the dash makes it almost look like two separate pictures. I wondered why you had posted a picture of a hazard light switch :ROFLMAO:
I saw one of those Clio saloons the other day. Weird looking thing.
I listed a 197 manifold on eBay (it has the pre-cat in it). I got a message from a scrap dealer asking if it's available and it made me remember that there was a thread on here. I had it listed for £50, but could I possibly retire on it instead?
Oh you absolutely could. It's not unusual in the car business at all; either for businesses to do shoddy work and try to worm their way out of it, or for people to try and take the law into their own hands. While screwing over your customers is unacceptable, I'm not sure that racing to Leicester...
I made the mistake of watching a couple of the ones where he has been arguing with a bloke about some work that got fucked up on a van. It feels like only part of the story is being told there. Also, he keeps going on about what a decent man he is, but is basically harassing the bloke and his...
Just go and test drive it, then say you don't want it. Basically the same as buying it and immediately selling it again, which is what you're bound to do anyway lol
Yeah I thought that too. They're so blatant in what they're doing, it's almost embarrassing. It makes you worry for the decent people out there that are doing good content. It would be a shame if they were tarred with the same brush because of these clowns.
Who on earth is that bloke? What a monumental prick. Only managed a few minutes of it. Spunking a load of money on an E63 and a remap, then bragging that it's the fastest thing in the world is beyond tragic. What a strange man.
