oh well Ive been a cheapskate and got the old turtle wax with the chipstick cos I couldnt afford a front end respray in the end. Gotta say the results were better than with Autoglym. Probably cos you need a perfect surface for the Autoglym.
Yeah I just found out Ive got one on the drivers side. Thats a strut brace and track driving for you...
Plan A is to weld over the sunroof. Ive been contemplating it for quite a while now
hehe nice project and its bloody tidy compared to most of the booted Novas I see around!
It would be ok if it was up for £300. I think the seller is gonna be gravely disappointed!
Hmmm I disagree there slayer. I suspect youd get a lot more drivers whod take the Willy rather than a 5 GTT if given the choice of one or the other. The GTT is an icon but so is the Willy and a hot hatch is not just about outright acceleration as you know. Admittedly this is a Clio forum but I...
Can;t get the link Dazman. But Wongy you know I had to change my plans so its just the stainless mesh for the time being.
Paul - when I did my first grille mod I had it out for a few days while I was forming the mesh around it (a phase 1 grille is a nice flat frame for mesh) and it looked...
Well I gotta differ with you there Ben cos as you know I run a lot of gas and my Super 4s never misfired or looked like they were the wrong heat range. I know on paper they should be too hot a plug. But in real driving, even on track for half an hour with regular nitrous firing they still looked...
A straight through pipe will give you popping and possibly flames if you can get the over-run fuelling right or can cause a misfire while youre driving.
A Magnex one like Ive got is actually a whole silencer the same shape as the original cat (roughly) so its no louder than the original cat...
I know the stuff cos Ive had the same grille on for a year or so now. It was actually called something I cant remember. Made by 3M. But the stuff you want is Sikaflex. Bodyshops have tons of it but you cant seem to buy it in the shops. Much easier to work than silicone though.
Good call coolspot! I remember the fun to be had having to wind down the window in the rain, poking my head out cos I couldnt see whether the lights had gone green!
I think sunstrips have had their day - a bit like pastel jumpers. But if you want one AFAIK its not a question of wipers or...
Thats a bummer. And also why I use Ferodo DS2000. Bedding in is a thing of the past for me now.
Maybe youve glazed them over already? Really you should have a look at the pads to be sure.
1 or 2. One way or the other lowering should be a priority. On a 16v, 55mm might be OTT. on a 1.4 theres plenty more room in there and a 55mm drop would bring it down to the level of a 35mm dropped 16v, which handles like a dream.

hehe well the gaps not so important. The only reason for running a different plug is if you need to go colder or hotter - eg running at 6500 revs on the track firing nitrous occasionally in 30 degree ambient heat might well need a colder plug to fire reliably.
BTW Bosch Super 4 is a very good...
Enough for an almost full stand both days mate. Just got to get one more weekender and were done. Chris S just rung me up about Donny the other day actually...
If I were you Id write back and say that you do not recall the incident and they have not presented any charge which could be substantiated in court and thus you must by necessity ask for the charge to be withdrawn. Its not even a case of guilty or not guilty.
