Carno can get what you need mate. I run adjustable Konis with a 35mm drop on PI springs. The complete Koni kit have their own springs but its still a 35mm drop. About £400 for the whole kit now I think?
Adjustables are handy but to be honest I run mine fully hard all the time anyway.
Where you been Luke? Youve been out of action for ages!
Anyway I dont fancy a telly in the car but I wouldnt mind a sit-down Space Invaders table for the spare room.
Yes discount at K-Tec. Weve both got OMP strut braces. Basically they come with everything you need and fit first time unlike most other brands. They dont do yellow any more, only red now.
yes it will definitely have an effect. An increase by an inch or two in rim size wont be the end of the world. When you go (like I did) from 195/50/15 to 215/35/18 which is also a heavier rim as well as a much bigger circumference, you can clearly feel the difference. You have to really wang it...
Errr mines a 16 row / 235mm width cooler, with 1/2" BSP fittings if thats any help. It was just over £100 including the fitting kit you need - 2 braided hoses with right angle swaged ends, a sandwich plate with built in 80 degree oilstat. Cliosport members get a discount with Think Automotive...
So who was the mystery black Clio...14.9? I heard 14.2 or maybe its my imagination.
I pulled a 15.2 @91mph the weekend before on my one and only run. I hadnt even programmed the controller right, it was just a warm up, my first run at the Pod since last summer!
So realistically Im hoping...
I wouldnt go for the Nova as a 1/4 miling machine. The 5 GTT is the weapon of choice. Buy a shed for £500 strip it out so its only a drivers seat, spend 3 grand on the lump and transmission and you have a 13 second car.
well on my way to Braintree the other day there was a long straight stretch with half a mile visibility and enough width for 3 cars. Not a single house and hardly any side roads around. Brand new 40mph signs right next to the old national limit signs which had been spray painted black.
Id...

hehe yeah thats the problem Ben - its running exactly spot on! Whod have thought anyone could complain about that? Maybe Ill fiddle with the fuel pressure and see what happens.
How come it popped when it ran *lean*?
Well it looks pretty good now and I waxed it last week. you dont end up with white residue everywhere like with the Autoglym. The chipstick is not perfect you can see all the chips if you look closely but from a few feet away you dont notice them at all. A lot cheaper than a respray even if its...
Spot on from me as well. Mines got a thermostat as well so the oil cooler circuit opens up at 80 degrees. Lets the car warm up properly but then keep the temp rock solid at 90-100 however much punishment you give it.
well I can understand wanting to be a nuisance about this. Whenever I get parking tickets I always question the markings on the road, the restriction signs etc, just to make sure that if I do end up paying a fine, at least Ive messed up their schedule because they have to send someone out to...

Weird, I cant get a pop or bang out of mine however hard I try!
Even with full throttle gearchange and a launch control switch that I can use to misfire the engine whenever I want, theres not a single snap, crackle or pop to be had!
oh well Ive been a cheapskate and got the old turtle wax with the chipstick cos I couldnt afford a front end respray in the end. Gotta say the results were better than with Autoglym. Probably cos you need a perfect surface for the Autoglym.
Yeah I just found out Ive got one on the drivers side. Thats a strut brace and track driving for you...
Plan A is to weld over the sunroof. Ive been contemplating it for quite a while now
hehe nice project and its bloody tidy compared to most of the booted Novas I see around!
It would be ok if it was up for £300. I think the seller is gonna be gravely disappointed!
Hmmm I disagree there slayer. I suspect youd get a lot more drivers whod take the Willy rather than a 5 GTT if given the choice of one or the other. The GTT is an icon but so is the Willy and a hot hatch is not just about outright acceleration as you know. Admittedly this is a Clio forum but I...
