One day, onnnneee day, you'll take decent photos of something (alternatively, I'll come up, have you do something on my car, and I'll wash and photo it).
Looks good though, even if through a vaseline covered lens.
Cheers Phol.
Cheers mate, we need to see more of that MR2!
Just do it! YOLO and all that other hipster s**t.
I'm pretty sure you will, but if you don't then I can only apologise. If it makes any difference at all, i'll have a mint set of 108's in the garage with no tyres for if I get...
Erm, so you didn't even wash it??? You just jetted and wiped with a micro fibre? Oh Russ....
It looks brilliant though, I've got so much love for that car, I really have. Brakes look brilliant too.
These 108's are new.
The set that came on the car weren't doing so well, (missing/snapped split rim bolts), then I ran it on those dodgy winter wheels, then I found this other set of 108's with tyres for a bargain.
So, I'm going to sell these 108's on, and fit something new (not actual new)...
Cheers mate, I've gone for something that's very much OEM + and not 19" CSL's. I was worried about the 19's compromising the way it drives, and also the cost of the tyres... :o
Cheers mate, the leather gets a lot of comments both on forums and in person, it was definitely a good decision.
Metal polish is on my shopping list actually to do the wheels before I sell them. Got the VX back in Sidcup?
Ohhh, what bushes??? And what exhaust? I'm going to change the front arms in the summer I think, just to freshen it up, I was nervous of exhausts.. don't want a droney POS.
Re: Z4 Spring Clean (The Silver Version)
Don't blame the tyres for your accidental drifting skills ;)
They don't seem to kick up any rubber no, but must be at least a little sticky because they peppered Ants front end in a sliproad GP the other week. :o
Cheers mate, changing the seats...
After seeing Chris' the other day, I thought I'd better give mine a bit of a tidy up. I gave it a quick going over at TheEvilGiraffe's the other day before the harlow meet and took 1000 miles of Lake district dirt off of it, but the 50 odd miles we did on salty roads at some fun speeds made it...
Cracking theme this month, I'm going to try and give it a go.
Knuckles, I found fishing through gumtree and weeding out the scammers resulted in real bargains. I paid £275 for a decent body, kit lens, 50mm lens, bag, the lot.
I think the argument is, if you whip a disc off and shove another on, you don't notice that the spacer is stuck to the old disc.
You can see it in step 4 of that guide that's been posted FYI.
There was no patronisation mate, it's just people giving you advice to stop you pissing money up the wall.
In a super highly tuned track car you might gain 0.001* of a second per lap due to having 0.000006ml* more fuel making it through your injectors but in a road car you'd get better...
