Love the colour and actually like the bonnet idea, personally I'd try to engineer a solution that allows it to feed directly to the filter, but with some offset slats so the water doesn't make it down there either. At the moment that meter or tubing is probably making it not overly effective...
Recaro's are one of those things, when I owned my Clio I wasn't exactly flush, so it seemed like a stupid amount to shell out on seats. Then, one day, I just thought f**k it.
Bought them, fitted them, didn't regret spending the money for a second and wondered why I hadn't done it before. For...
I wouldn't worry, it's not really like spark plugs or whatever.
Just change one, if another goes in 6 months, just change another. It's that simple, and it's not like one failing will cause the car to explode.
Go buy a 2.2 6 cylinder 3 series.
You'll think it's the best thing since sliced bread for about 2 months, then one day you'll be driving along and just think "WTF have I done?"
I went and bought a zed, but I imagine I'd have been almost as happy in a Trophy.
What did you take the photos with? I'm unsure if it's the editing or the photos, but they're awful (no offence).
I also prefer 15's but I love the wheels in general. Did you use tyre shine? The photos are so over done I can't tell. If not, get some, it'll look a million times better.
Why is there so much love for these??? I really have no idea, as I'm not a fan of the looks and it's only got 100 hp, I assume it's got one hell of a chassis/suspension setup??
Don't worry about the above, just a small confusion but James has his account back now.
Anyway, a ph2 boot lock 10000% fits a ph1 boot, you need to search, someone did a thread/sort of guide.
It's quite a long discussion thread (I know I posted in it) but it shows you exactly how to do it...
Agree'd unfortunately, very soft indeed. Try just taking photos of the same thing over and over until you get a real sharp one, should help you figure out where the issue is.
Re: Grey With Trinkets, Russ' 29th RS Clio
Yeah it's everyone buying them on here again that doesn't help. Russ has got one, you've got 6, clarkey's just bought one, I loved Benkays... arg!
Re: Grey With Trinkets, Russ' 29th RS Clio
Sweet :)
I can feel myself buying another ph1, this is not cool.
Maybe as a Christmas present to myself (then the mrs can't go too mental)
Looks awesome Chris, it's almost time to really enjoy it... just need this winter to bugger off!!!
I had a coldish, but dry journey to work this morning and about 80% throttle, it was immense fun, sideways on a curving a road entrance slip :o
