Where have people got these from? I want to get some for my old man for crimbo to go on his astra, but I cant find any :mad: Have they got some other name that I don't know about? :S Google is not my friend atm :(

You'll need a new head gasket, new head bolts & a cam belt, big(ish) job but not too difficult to tackle yourself and afaik the ecu should be a straight swap

That quote was from renault in Nottingham (clowns tbh :nono:) It's going to Ezra Sugden Renault in Worksop, came highly recommended from ppl on here after the usual suspects :p I don't know how much this place is charging but I think he's having discs & pads all round done as well

Latest Update Got the car to the garage to get the brakes checked, turns out that all the crap from the other lads car I ran over had somehow knocked loose the goodridge hose at the back & was leaking a tiny bit of fluid, hence the sponginess So my mechanic nipped them tight again, then...

The valver and williams wings are exactly the same If you're going for the widetrack you need the willy wishbones, ARB and driveshafts as well as the right shocks You can fit the valver coilies to the widetrack, but it fcuks the camber up, best off with the williams ones Have a look on...

If it does fit, whack a turbo on it :evil: be worth it for the giggles, just like the 1980's micra I've seen with an SR20 DET lump in it :rasp:

My m8s vee is going to renault to get all this done next week, clutch, cam belt, water pump & service, costing him £2k:eek:

If you do need a new antennae cable, it comes as part of the kit from renault, new ariel, new base with rubber seal and the long grey cable - I got all that for £12 :D Sounds like you've made some good progress though :approve: keep up the good work & get some pics up

Find your nearest car electronics or similar car audio place (not halfrauds:nono:) They will be able to sort you out pretty quickly ;) they'll just need to know the make & model of your car and the head unit

Try replacing the ariel 1st ;) is it a ph1 or 2? Mine leaked loads, turns out it was the seal on the base of the ariel was fcuked. £12 from renault ;) If yours is a ph1 with the square ariel base then it probably is the sunroof thats leaking If your blower is deffo knackered I've got a...

Good News :) It's a cat C write off but it's getting fixed ;)

Gonna strip it as I'll get another 1 and I'm tryin to cut my losses by stripping it & selling the bits, pretty much everything on the car is new

I've got an engineer coming to inspect it on monday, anyone had experience with this, anything I need to know or advice to give when dealing with the guy?
