I fyou want to replace th bearing yep but whole new mount have new bearing pushed in so just jack up the engine remove the bolt holding the mount to the gearbox and the one holding the mount to the car shell. Remove the old mount put new one in then bolt back up.
Superchip remap your car they use an off the shelf setting though and its not tailered to your car so its induction kit cams etc a custom one is ideal.
Dave Walker works down that way I think. I'll find his details tomorrow if i can remember its not that cheap though or Chipwizards have good...
Best give the car some of that engine cleaner stuff rag it round for a bit to clean it out then take it back.
or put a 1.2 CAT on it.
If a car fails on emmisons somehting usually wrong with the cat.
See this post.

Another common problem is when you lock the car the alarm beeps 2 or 3 times.
Reason: The alarm system has received a signal from the vehicle ECU that the ignition is 'on' causing the alarm to beep. This signal is only...
You need a new cat for mot time so might as well buy one then get your old one messure the size of the CAT box and cut it out then weld in a bit of pipe the same lenght of the cat. Much cheaper.
Or someone keen.
It could be done in a week with the right tools working quite hard. Having part break is what will slow you down. Matt Balcks the specialist at this his record is 24 hours (well 2 people working 12 hours) to do one I belive. He's stopped doing them but sells the kits now.
I...
Ha ha yep.
Anyway we need to get your braked sorted so go work and save some money. I'll PM adam again.
You'll also need (refering to the orriginal topic) the hubs the brakes calipers suspension dasboard etc.
Yep you need the caliper brackets etc. I'm wiring a guide at the moment only just found my old calipers in the garge so you'll know what you need.
Stock brakes are fine though on the 1.4 its quite a cheap upgrade to the 259mm disk calipers etc so not a bad option.
You need to find a car with...
5 speed box.
6 speed on the dci 105hp and the 197 model (ironically the same gearbox version).
Mp3 is an optional different head unit cannot remmber how much though, I've a options brocure somwhere for it its Sony from memory.
Petrol depends how hard you are I get terribale mpg out of the 1.6...
You'd need a custom setup exhaust (I think Ktec have a setup for 172 but its not much use for you) to route the pipes round the wheel well the other optionis to have the wheel wheel cut out and a plate etc to cover it.
The 182 exhaust is bigger than the 1.2 one so you need to get an adapter...
Alternator sounds like its having trouble check earthing lines etc.
Problem is the dci is a heavily computerised engine if things go wrong you need someoen with the computer to intograte it,
Yep the brakes from a Valver/Williams/Mk2 pahse 1 1.6 16V and the Mk2 phase 2 (none RS and 1.2 8V model) have the bigger disk you need the calipers the caliper mounting brakcet (ie the one which the caliper attaches to and attaches to the hub).
You'd be best getting new pads and disk the disk...
