Out the box the 225 makes 280 or so hp. You need to spend a fair bit ona 172 turbo conversion to get that then there the optiosn of bigger turbos etc off the sheft there kits taking them to 350hp or so on stock internals and there massive Hp modesl out ther. That compnay with the twin engiend TT...
The Clio needs all the rear end grip it cna get the backs to light realy. sticking bad tyres on the back show it even morewhen yuo go round the bend the back has no weight pushing it down unlike the front with the engine etc and has less grip so slides out.
Was just saying the 172 wan't 3mm lower I've been reading the tech spec recinetly and its 7mm lower at the front and 5mm at the back. However ther tolerance on those measurments are quite big so i won't matter.
Halfords/Demon Tweeks etc
Colour upto you black for me personally but I wouldn't like them to stand out otherwise white to help keep them cool.
Its eays just need to do the work properly cleaning the caliper etc.
Freds supposed to be doing this he's got side tracked by a V6 at the moment.
Fred has some pics of the engine one mount will work the others need custom making. You need to cut away at the chassic though so you'd need to weld some straight back into it.
1.8 VAG engine is a better option...
They last a long time I think I'd say 70k depends hwo you drive its like saying how long standard shocks last mine went at 55k or so and went softer but I've been in cars with 200k on stock shocks.
Halford sell the right ones as said most companies don't get it right. Its one thing Renault are good at getting the right front brake part.
239mm your will be you need the 259mm ones.
If you want uprated one (No idea why stock are more than adequate after all there Williams front brakes)...
Get Renault to find it.
Its the same as the normal CLio one so the Feb 2002 version is part number 82 00 249 352. When you get one remember to get the information written inside the front cover shwoing chassic number radio code etc.
So long as the oil pressure goes up when you get the rpm up and drops when it comes down (will do it slowly) and pressures stay about the same and between 1 and 4 bar I'd say thats fin if you suddenly find it chnages from 3 bar to 1 bart at motorway speeeds then your pumps going to die very...
Check the wheel nuts. I've had similar problems before Clio wheel nuts seem to suffer from just come loose no idea why
Unlikly to be bearing you'd hear it all the time and would get lounder.
Check nothing catching on the wheel.
Check your driveshaft not cut or damaged.
Check your bottom...
The cars are diigned to break like that though crash a land rover at 20 and you'll have a right bad injoury most likly roll the car then gain you've got to get a land rover sideways at 20mph first.
Yep clutch is sel adjusted are you using a none Renault cable as there rubish get a Renault one they work fine.
Clio doens't use cables to select gears its a bar.
