Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
Nice choice of wheel mate, is it the trecento uno 300mm? I've got one on my silver cup, it's awesome and transforms the way the car feels and the feedback.
Heres a pic of it in my silver cup :)
Also get momo boss as OMP one catchs the cowling
Why are all the best boosted clios in the north east ;)
Yours is probably my ultimate Clio, ph1, yellow with boost and lows XD
I love Andys and stevieh's boost weapons aswell, some time in the next 10 months there will be another boosted Clio joining the NE pack
Funnily enough he was telling me about those when he was doing my cambelt....maybe he was thinking about that when he forgot to tighten up the crank bolt ey? LOL
Don't say that haha. Nah I've learned its worth making the trip worthwhile. HUTCHIE came recommended by many people, he himself claiming he's done plenty etc. Peice of mind I thought, now it seems the one person I thought was my only saviour in the NE has turned out to be like the rest of the...
On the trophy mate, I went down to see the lad who has it now and he showed me the bottom end and the head with the snapped valve and head of the valve smashed round.
Well the timing was correct mate, the way the valve has snapped suggests otherwise
Anyway I did try and cooperate with Hutchie in repairing the car, even suggesting I would meet half of the costs, but he failed to cooperate. I've been very calm on the matter when its very frustrating to see...
hutchie fitted a new timing belt kit and alternator kit on the car, he didnt tighten up the crank pulley bolt up correctly, turned the car over....crunch ....hutchie takes car away to fix as his fault, replaces 16 valves as 15 were bent, I was told would be new valves, turns out they were second...
I thought people would like to see what happens when you let someone work on your car who lacks experience
Cylinder/piston 1
Cylinder/piston 2
Cylinder/piston 3
Cylinder/piston 4
I will get some pics at the weeknd of the state of two valves which clearly weren't up to the job. My...
After noticing a smart repair on the clio on the rear quarter and the paint looking rather flat I decided to take a look at it in the view of wet sanding it back and polishing it back then paint correcting it.
Here are the pics, not fabulous as silver is a pain in the arse to try and catch...
Lost too much money on the 'T' mate, got a nice little cup now until I get back on my feet, looking for something with a bit more power in a couple of years time....or maybe I'll build something instead ;)
looking really nice andy, really need to get my arse up and have a look at that paint, see if I can give you a few hours of my time to return the past favour, or you can come and pick those rear seats up and call it quits ;)
Think I will be the only person to post a trophy in here just to be different, not the lowest but it could've been if I wasnt arsed about ruining my chassis again. Just for the lols to piss off the trophy purists ;)
