I paid £600 for an engine with 32k miles on mate so you're way off there. I wouldnt trust any engine its always worth changing the belts while the engine is out

the way I see it is this, going through its history its had a lot of previous with problems. Seems I've been hit by the most expensive problems....twice. When It no longer makes financial sense its time to go. We will see how much I get back in parts, I started to love it, then it s**t itself...
