Only a few bits sorted tonight...Needed something to block off the pipe from the head that would usually go to the carbon canistor (sp). Geesus69 used a bung from Demon Tweeks, but I thought id try to 'make do'...
This is the original pipe sticking out...
How does a standard AUX belt run round the 1*2 engine? Path wise...?
Just fitted the alt to the block, and fitted the aux belt, but its rubbing on the cambelt cover?
Cant see why its rubbing though, unless it normally goes under the waterpump?

not know anyone that can shotblast+powdercoat? I had two subframes and all the brackets shot blasted and powdercoated black for cheap

not much really, ive got a massive tin its done nearly everything and hubs/brakes loads more stuff, still over half left

The lot is Hammerite 'Hammered' Black...yellow is Acid Yellow renault color, just mixed paint....crackle happened when the hammerite got laquered :S

Cleaned up the throttle body earlier, as I pained it earlier in the week so it didnt look stupid on the fresh inlet manifold...
Then started to clear coat the inlet manifold, but the paint on the lettering reacted with the clear coat :(

As posted previously, I did the lettering black on the painted inlets, took a while but I like it better done...
Also jetwashed the engine bay today, came up very very well considering the amount of mud, gravel and dirt was in there...
