Standard AUX Belt Path

How does a standard AUX belt run round the 1*2 engine? Path wise...?

Just fitted the alt to the block, and fitted the aux belt, but its rubbing on the cambelt cover?

Cant see why its rubbing though, unless it normally goes under the waterpump?

Its on teh upload but here it is from the workshop manual, It does go around the waterpump too

Looks like you may have to source an alternate belt to run that setup one with 5 ribs??

mine did too, i just let it rub for a bit

cup racers use the same belt but thinner (less ribs)

you need to run a 5 rib belt, 6 ribs rub!

they use like a 3 or 4 rib on a cup racer!
