There a few on about 200hp+ on here usually people have throttle bodies but it cna be done on stock manifold(abeitly reworked).
A good set of cams manifold work exhaust induction kit and remap and your about 195 head work and you'll be about 210.
Throttle body is different as phase 2 run the electric one.
Coilpacks are the same I think.
Plenum is the same again I think. If not it will be easy to make fit.
Alternator is the same Cup is different but can fit with the Cup bracket 9and removal and adjsuted of bits round the AUX belt)
The 172 one won't fit from memory. Get one from a scrap yard from a 1.4/1.6 or diesel. The diesel and 1.6 will all run the thicknes ARB at 25mm wheras the 172 is 24mm. Stokc 1.2 is 22mm (all figures are for the phase 2 cars and from memory)
I don't see the problem its cheap you'd have to checkhow its ben done the wiring ie headlings and fogs will be wrong as removing or not fiting them is cheaper.
Would make a decinet track or project car for a tunning company IMO.
I'll assume its registered as not a V6 since the registration...
Its as reliable as the quaility of the job. You've basically got a 172 so its as reliabl as the doner car. Also remember you will want to chnage the cambelt clucth and bushes before the engine put in so thats £250 or so extra in parts.
Yep he had trouble with people and them I think so stopped doing it.
Ktec I think will do the conversion and GDI did one. Most Renault tunners would be up for the work I'd imagine. Not sure about Yozzasport but I'd imagien they would do a conversion.
The near side is a bit of a pain you've got to drain the gearbox.
Shouldn't take more than an hour and a half.
1) Remove the 30mm nut in the center of the wheel 9or least loosen it off)
2) Drain gearbox of oil.
3) Jack car up and remove wheel
4) Undo the bottom ball joint two bolts (infact...
Pumps a superb handling car and if you get a good one the problem is a 172 is a step sidways not upwards or downwards in some ways.
Sounds like a diodgy earth somehwere on the dash panel.
Removeing the setup won't be difficult realy the fixing of the AUX belt will be a little more toublesome.
In he rallying are youi able to run electric coolent pumps as this is one option remove the coolent pump replace with an electric one then measure what size aux belt will fit he remaining...

Another common problem is when you lock the car the alarm beeps 2 or 3 times.
Reason: The alarm system has received a signal from the vehicle ECU that the ignition is 'on' causing the alarm to beep. This signal is...
