There NCAP 4 star safety record says a lot about the car.
You've been helped by the big metal bar right behind the bumper you can just see in the pics which has taken the force.
From the looks its just paint and panels for both cars.
Mounts arn't much say £30 or so. Its usually the dogbone one under the car which wears the others just look worn.
Have u a picture of the drivers mount as some people may think its damaged from new due to its design. It can need adjsuston to fix the bangind noise if its not been centered and...
I agree but the rules say your in the wrong. Rules of the road regards speed limits are difficult to say for sure driving above the speed limit doesn't place you in blame for a crash you maybe involved in.
The answers have all been answered in a post I wrote a few weeks ago might have been moved to guides though. I've writed some more answers in your post though.
Only takes about 3 hours to get the engine out say the same to get a new one in and running.
6 hous total. Give it a go yourself.
Just fill in your V5 as mentioned above with the new engine serial numbers.
Unless you prove they were speeding and the damage to your car (IMO) isn't enough evidence as its not huge.
Shouldn't be to muhc to fix up new arch liners are £15 from Renault second hand bumper say £60 then hopefully not much suspenion damage might have worn the ball joints a bit.
Its not...
You can buy the bits you need the computers etc just plug in only thing which would take time to setup if want it is the auto ajust as the rear axle has a sensor on it. and the waher jets.
Parts can be bought for £200 but if you get failed bulbs or computers mean they can work out quite expensive.
Any garage can do it a mates had a New MPG and has 3 head gasgets in under 3 years one went in the first few weeks of him owning it and he didn't drive it hard.
Its down to the coolent space or somehting I forget what exactly.
6 hours to do I think officially.
Strip it out of all its interier.
Give the car a good service.
Smash the internals out of the cat. (migth well fail the MOT though) or get a decat pipe made up.
Clean the car.
Get a 1.8/2.0 engine fitted the RSI 1.8 8V is a good option dirt cheap and 110hp officialy.
Hum I'd say 1.2 all the way the extra insurance for a 1.4 isn't worth it IMO.
I'd try the Mk2 and Mk3. Personally if there the same price upto say £1k extra for the Mk3 I'd go for that but The Mk2 is more fun in some ways.
At your age I'd never get a new car get a 2 year old 1.2 16v...
I like the Mk3 the ride and seats are softer and the car rolls less (never had a 1.2 though 1.4 and 1.6 only).
It suffers from the extra weight and none have many miles so there no knowedge is milage will make them much better. Plus the gear shifts are terribale worst thing ever.
Forget the leads and plugs stock are fine.
182 exhaust manifold.
cams
manifold rework
Thats should get you very close to 200hp with a remp and a good induction kit with cold intake.
He'd prefere the car to go quicker for the money spent on wheel.
Both the TT CLio and the shiroco (or however you spell it) are imsanly quick cars.
Al - I don't think the car is legal any more but it could be made legal. Matt stripped it I think to make it quikcer. Needs to sort out more power...
A few members have had a varierty of cams fitted.
Personally I wouldn't bother you need other bits to get the best but even with cams head work manifold work remap etc you'll only get about 210hp.
Difference on there own with a remap even with the manifold reworking (about £170) is still...
The exhaust can fail at any time. Just pot liuck. You cna get copy cat parts cheap though shouldn't cost much.
The 1st to 4th is propobly explained as the exhaust is broken.
If the stock ECU is running the car why do you want the Omex?
EIther get rid of the Omex and fix the wiring for the coolent tempe sensor (I'd guess the coolent lugged into the Omex) and fix the rev counter by fixing the wiring from the ABS computer (or gearbox sensor if you've got one) to the...
