Re: Silly Cup Racer (and shiney new one)
I think the new cup racer looks best in that yellow or the white and bluw one which was there as that looked superb.
As Danlp6 said check the earth but unfortunatly some dahboard have been porblems just loosing all the info like this only fix uner warently was to chnage the dash.
Yep if its an identiao engine just replug it all in.
You should easily be able to remove the engine upwards. Disconnect the gearbox all associted wiring and lift it upwards.
The proper one isn't not copper. Its a two piece ruber and metal design one only the Mk1's use the copper ones the Mk2 only use the copper one for the gearbox.
You cna use the copper one what size are you after?
Just buy a new one though if you don't they leak so there no point saving a 80p...
4 mounts
One on the drivers side you can see.
One the battery sits on.
One the dogbone which is at the back of the gearbox attaching it to the back of the firewall and one on the gearbox to subframe at the front of the gearbox.
Both as said have there benefits and different cars use both ie Jags/ Mercdes and Minis use superchargers. Diesels and the Megans use turbos.
With modern turbos being so efficient with variable valves superchrages may be used less and less.
The plastic console is only chap the screen is expensive anbd the wiring looms for the readio etc are different to give you an idea i think I priced up most of the bits some time ago and it was over £2k. that was just the parts though no fitment or garantee i'd got all the bits.
There no ESP sensor like i said its the stearing wheel sensor been broken/bodges the ESP and ABS systems are interlinked they use the wheel sensor+ one down by the handbrake and the stearing wheel position to owrk out whats going on. without the stearing one working the computers confused.

What wrong with the ring is the sensor gapping not in tolerance (0.5 to 1.5mm from memory) is the ring damaged?. I don't think its a seperate part but I think it can be seperated a new shaft is about £150 I think. If you do need a new shaft contrack matt though on 01254 386661 he will have one...
Contact Renault UK. However if you managed to wear two seat covers then your way of sitting down etc must have somehting to do with it. i'd get them to chnage it and worry about the second set wearing and think about how your sitting in the car etc.
Uprated clyutch are usless I've never been impressed with them there worse than standard in all but there strnght and even then they can crack and break unlike stock ones.

Exhaust for sale
They all fail at the front of the rear box.
I bet its failed where I've coloured in.
The plugs probaly linked to the aircon I guess the doner car had aircon?
Might have something to do with the PAS but I woulnd't expect so but you won't have normal PAS you've kept he normal electric rack havn't you?
Get them to trn the sensitivity down of the sensor easy to do its a common problem just put the sensor wires in the other way round turns them down to 20% rarther than the hypercentertive 80% there often plugged in at.
As regards security well if someoen wants to steal your car and isn't...
Ype Cup racer did there regualr crashing antiquest shame they were better than normal regard making it ot the end in one pieces.
They've also worked out how to get round the the bend at the bottom of the hill without driving accross the grass which is a bit dull.
It doesn't drain power from the engine directly. Reliability hum well there quite reliable. They were used to help mpg as they sap less power. They are cheaper to make and give more space.
Stock ones are fine i never had trouble until Bedfrod track day and i'd done a lot of track days FDB 845 pads from halfords £17 then normal diks and some decinet fluid is all you need.
Forget any fancy disks I've never been impressed by then stock normal looking ones are more than fine. DS2500...
