So today i was sitting at the car wash, had been there around 10mins and then the car just died for no reason at idle. So carried on driving home and it cut out a few times when slowing to a stop in traffic etc. The car was warm, not sure if that makes a difference. I'm sure lots of you guys...
I'm sure there is a way to do it, you can get leather dyes etc but it doesn't bother me tbh.
Yer i like the thumbgrips as they are now, never been a fan of them on the original wheel.
So today was exciting as i got my new steering wheel fitted, much better than the original. However it was not all good as the car now has a problem :( Will make another post for that. I'll let the pictures do the talking, work was carried out by Royal Steering Wheels.
Ha ha no far from it! I have to use M1, M25 and M4. It's all about anticipation especially around town, try not to stop unless you can help it and keep the momentum up etc. I was driving like a grandma but still doing 65/70mph. I just wanted to see what I could get out of it.
So far it has been OK, i have experienced maybe twice where im at low speed/revs and the car hits a wall and almost stops for a second and then its fine. I think the car was ran on s**t fuel before whereas i only use Vpower in it. I may just replace the injectors not sure yet see what ED says...
Thank you, took a couple of years and alot of blood, sweat, tears and of course money. Started life as a 1.5 auto when i first bought it ha. Hopefully we can make the Clio better :)
Haha it's not top of my priorites right now, but I probably will have it off you at some point.
Didn't do much at the weekend tbh weather was pretty poor, met up with @STEVE.M for a beer and a chat. Thought I would post up some pictures of my old Civic EG for you guys.
Yes you a right, forums can be a dangerous place haha. Like i mentioned before my Civic cost me thousands haha.
Anyways got home tonight and decided to put my up GTR canvas print that my mate got me for Christmas.

Have you go an updated link or contact for the guy? Can't find anything on eBay and tried searching the user Tachosoft and gave me someone in Germany ha.
EDIT: Ignore me I was being stupid!!!
Good point, something may have been stuck preventing it from reading properly. All seems fine now, typical.
Anyways some more pictures to give you a general idea of the condition.
Very dirty thanks to the snow and salt on the roads atm, i'm not sure if someone has painted some of the...
Nice start, glad to see another member saving one!
I really want to get those carbon fiber bits for the dash, wheel and gear stick. Don't suppose you know where I could get them from!
Are you going to update the NAV? I wonder what the latest disc is for it lol.
Thanks! Think from K-tec it was around £16ish. Funnily enough after work jumped in and hasn't been on since, but i'm sure it will come back so might as well just swap it and go from there.
Yer it should be nice and easy, im sure the car has plenty of surprises in store for me lol, but I'm...
Also when you say you swapped the lambda was it a new one? If not are you sure that one is working? Have you changed the switch from the other code now or has that not come back?
@PP172 So then the first thing i would do it stick some VPower in, then check plugs, leads, coil pack and then injectors. To get the injectors cleaned in that group buy its really cheap so well worth a go.
@STEVE.M Good to see another Luton member ha, how many are there?
@PP172 i would get the injectors cleaned, group buy atm for peanuts so worth a go.

The story begins on Boxing day, i was bored as most people are on that day so decided to take a look on eBay. I didn't even need to replace my car I was just bored of it ha. So I found this with a short time left on the auction, description seemed OK so i stuck a bid in and I won! This is my...
Just went through this whole thread, top work!
With regards to J&R me and a few mates have used them on our Civics and they have been fine, can't complain for the price.
