If the suspension and driveshats etc are done right it would be just like an Evo to drive realy.
Matt has 430hp and FWD and even without a good driveshaft set hasn't that many problems.
I realy like them I wanted to buy one till i realsied I couldn't fit in one comfortably.
Lee off here was trying to arrange a MG VS RS friendly track day until Rover discovered they couldn't keeep the doors of the factory open due to the huge demand they had.
I've just checked the stock...
You can buy a whole new set of 16 new nuts and 4 locking nuts and 2 keys for £50 which is IMO a better buy.
A set of 4 locking wheel nuts either got to halfords etc or just buy new seperate replacment bolts for the keys you have (or as required).
I'd keep the WIlliams personally and just put the miles on it.
Yours seemed like it had a careful life after all the disks were original.
I don't think you'd get £3.5k for it though £2.5k is more liklly maybe £3k if you find someoen who'll pay for a cared for car.
I've thought a...
I don't see why not a forum meber was looking into it a while back i'm sure a TR engine has been done into a Mini and there less space there. I know a few Rover V8 mini's have been done so a Mk1 with a smaller engine should be fine.
All you'd need to do is make the mounts, driveshafts...
Why can you not turn the nut thing then that the spring site on ? If the've been on a bit the threads can get dirty so you do need to clean them before you can lower and higher.
I think Mike means a road spring is just the normal suspension spring. Your thinking of brake pressure compensators.
Mikes on about these one if I'm right.

He works for Renault specilast breakers in Accrington. He can supply you with a car from one which is being broken up or can get you a new engine all crated up unused chepear than you can from Renault dealerships.

Different parts.
However a quick check of the actual parts shows that the only difference between them and a normal one is that the 172/182 one has thicker holes for the bolts.
From what I remember of the old post the speedo didn't work and neither did the temperatrue gauage I was a little wary of why the issues existed maybe GDI did fix them.
This conversion never realy got finished I didn't think I wonder why after spending this much its getting striped out.
£1.8k buy it now isn't to bad priced realy though
I've tried getting the most MPG in cars in the past (for a few minutes till I get bored) using the CLio trip and 25mph in a dci in 5th gear and the engine and box don't like it but the trip shoots well over 100mpg increase to 50 and 60 and it drops below 100mpg.
Ooops yep sorry thats the price for the front suspenion subrame I though that was what you were tlaking about.
The aftermarket subframe for the seats is lower than the tropy one as the trophy wan't allowed to use the normal aftermarket subframe.
There the same as the 172 which will be the same sort of price as the 172 I'd expect
172 ones are £362.16 ex vat (the price is a year or so old but thats an idea)
I've checked them all some time ago. There are a few different sizes ones the dci has a 24mm thick one which is the thickest in the range but I don't think it will directly fit a 172/182.
