I've ordered some eibach camber bolts, and i'll get it booked in with bramracing next weekend. Will keep the standard wheels on for now then swap over before heading to bram so it's all setup properly. Can't wait!
Do I need camber bolts? Just recently changed my tres and tie rods so my alignment is out by a fair bit.
The cars lowered on cooksports and running 20mm front spacers/10mm rear.
I don't want to take it for alignment for it to then need camber bolts so I have to pay again.
Cheers
Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone has used the locking nuts whilst running a stud conversion?
I've seen these, which seem to fit the bill and look decent...
If you want me to pop over, we can swap leads/pack from mine to yours, and see if it makes a difference to the running?
It definitely smelt strongly of petrol when I saw it before! Makes me think lambda or injector
I've fitted cooksports just recently, but the dampers themselves were absolutely fine. I did have a broken spring yeah.
I can't justify b14's just yet, so i'll probably fit the 15's on the cooksports until next year. Just wanted to make sure it looks half decent and not ridiculous
Is it not worth just checking to make sure that cog isn't fucked? It's a 5 minute job and they may have misdiagnosed.
EDITT* I see you can't turn it off. That's a pain. The cog is probably broken causing the heat issue though
Did you check to make sure it wasn't just the little cog on the side that had snapped/misshapen? Happens a lot and leaves it stuck on a setting. Simple fix with a cable tie, dont let renault mug you off.
