Been machined polished? Still look a little dull, certainly not deep, but that could be your camera skills... :rasp:
Get those wheels/tyres done and the outside will look lovely!
Re: Titanium Ph1 172
Got the dash all in, wired up and working?
Good work if so :)
Worst pictures ever so far though, get out there and take some decent ones!
It's not really delicate electrics.
A few on here have done some mint installs with just a decent drill, some buttons and some wiring with heatshrink etc.
If you search you'll find it, was a sabelt wheel iirc.
Right, I've read the thing. Bloody good advert, a few bits I'd change myself but that's just personal preference.
I've just looked across pistonheads etc, why have you got it up so cheap??
Kev, the images need re-sizing before uploading. This should minimise the crap quality.
(Check my project thread for my last two zed photos, from iphone, to pc (resized) then emailed to phone and uploaded via photobucket phone app)
Want to email me them in full size, I'll reduce them all in...
Saturday morning/early afternoon I'm free as a bird. That's not a bad shout on JD coming down, awesome place for detailing minus the dusty drive out!
JD?
So Saturday, copper grease back of brake pads, fit rear braided hoses and bleed brakes? I gave the pads and discs all round a look and...
I've got a hose in the back garden that I run through the house (the joys of living with no parents, get away with murder)
Feel free to come to me, there's a few decent enough roads within reach, we can have a bit of a blast whenever you're free.
I don't really do booking things up (too...
Waders mate.
I'm glad I bought it! Proper love this car.
Very well mate, feels a damn lot faster than the 172 that's for sure, whether it actually is or not, who knows.
It's about 230bhp yeah, which feels more than adequate, the power is just always there! Turn sport mode on and the...
This'll be proper interesting. I bet there's some money in selling the spares from the car you currently have no? All the seats and door cards look well.
Yeah it's not, and for the money involved I'm unsure if it's worth it. At the moment I prefer the grills as is, based upon a like for like picture anyway, looks a bit meaner.
Just went out for a drive to get lunch, just because it's so nice. I'm actually in love with this car.
It's a lot of £££ to sort out the lights as I want them really.
De-orange the front ££££
Clean indicator discs for the sides £
Facelift style home made rear lights ££
Add up all those £'s and you've got a lot of money I haven't got at the moment.
I think I'll spend some money servicing it...
If its just the sounder for the alarm that's ok
Have you got a socket set? You should be able to get it done with any old kit.
It's pretty hard to just fall off tbh, have you still got the bolt? Or has it gone?
Most of the guys that break Clio's on here should be able to send you one for a £...
Yours is folding hard top then Alan? That's awesome!!! You need to take me for a spin some time soon?
Thanks for all the nice comments, I can't believe you actually like it dan!!
Anyway, centre caps here, quick pic or two:
MUCH better!!!
It's just a shame he won't accept the wheels don't look right. I couldn't give a monkeys if he wants to impress, it's just a shame to ruin what is (IMO) a proper wicked and classy looking motor with some tiny (for the car) and poorly offset wheels.
Oh and is my opinion more valid because I...
Garage? No, no need.
You do however NEED to tighten them up as if it rattles off you'll lose the bolts and result in a big lump of metal flying around in the bay.
Have you got a halfords tool kit?
You need the medium sized ratchet, shortest extension and either the 10 or 13mm long socket.
Cheers northerners. I'll go 6000k from HID's direct with the slim ballasts as apparently they're probably easier to hide away?
Unless anyone has any other ideas of course...
I will Kev. Just need to find out what kits are decent etc first then I'll invest.
I just really like the look of that conversion.
I need to do something with the headlights anyway as I need to have the front bumper off and get everything lined up properly. At the moment the panel gaps around...
Let me find the pics of the recent install someone did, really quite subtle.
I'll be retro-fitting xenons as they're projector lenses, I just won't have the washers (oh well). Just need to find a kit I'm confident in.
Gimmie a minute.
