Well just got off the phone to them and they are saying its in the prep shop, should be ready for Saturday "hopefully". Rich after this is done there are a few of us in london that want our cars PC polished, you still doing this mate? Will let you know when and sort out a day if thats okay...
When I test drove my 182, I was weaving in and out of cars at 120 + the sales girl was holding her breath, holding on tight and saying nothing. It took my breath away when I first drove it. Its what made me sign on the dotted line! Amazing.
I gave my car into one of Elephants approved repairers (FJ Cipa panelcraft in Seven Kings, Essex) last week Monday to get the damage sorted that an uninsured driver caused and they are taking f**king ages to get the car done. On dropping the car off the guy said it would be ready the same week...
I had a look at one yesterday at Renault in Limehouse, I think the car is stunning in the flesh but the back does look very plain, spoiler is a must for this to make it look more butch. I have a feeling that when they bring out cup option packs, these early 197's are going to look really really...
I have been in a 1.0l yaris for the past week and a bit and it is utter shite. Is it too much to ask for an average height person to be able to sit slighltly comfortably at the wheel?!
I guess, but compared with something like a golf 1.8t it has. I love the way you can just touch the pedal ever so lightly in the 182 and it revs nice and smoothly.
I noticed when I bought my 182 that the flywheel is very light on these cars as the engine can generate enough inertia to spin the cogs in the gearbox very easily. Light flywheel = lumpy idle.
Bit silly really IMO, the stripes only suit the Gordini Racing Blue. Have seen black 182's with stripes and looks nothing but chavvy. No need, the RS range is a classy hot hatch imo, not brash and in your face like some others.
The stopping power must be awesome with those brembos, wonder if they will fit the 182, im sure they will go like hot cakes from breakers once a few people have landed them in the hedges!
Fuk the ST, VXR or what have you, I like my car to be a blend of balance, speed, and discreetness. My dik is not so small that I need a bright red / orange car to say "HEY LOOK AT ME I GOT A FAST CAR". Im loving the new 197, discreet technology hidden under the skin.
Ill go grab a pic and post up tomorrow. Is a normal prefix, like V*** DRH, strange, saying that Ive seen a T reg maestro flying about, surely thats not right either. Must be some dodgy ringing going on.
