Handling is how a car feels when you ask it to change direction, how it reacts and responds to your inputs, how it communicates what's going on back to you.
If that is the case...I'm not sure where you're coming from Roy?
It has more power, and the delivery will be different...but it'll...
WTF? I never noticed the price.
Was that really NINE THOUSAND POUNDS for an almost 7 year old Clio?
I obviously need a ride in it. Then it'll make sense.
Stupid suicidal motherfcukers basically!
Do they really posses no survival instinct whatsoever?
Had to haul up sharpish en route home tonight, traffic coming the other way so I had to come to a standstill and lean on the horn.
Two others almost did the same but ran off just before I...
Where I used to notice it most on my 172 Cup and also on my 200 is when it idles.
On V-Power/Momentum I can comfortably let the car pull itself along on tickover only in traffic, getting into 3rd or 4th without touching the throttle, whereas on 95 it was possible (just), but painful.
Didn't Game acquire Gamestation as a going concern?
If so, they acquired a shitload of leasehold liabilities that in the current economic climate would have been doubly hard to sell on. With that being the case they focussed on brand differentiation and tried to make the surplus outlets...
I've still got my 172 Cup after more than 9! Can't actually believe I'm thinking of selling it :(
I blame that on the fact that the 200 is so fcuking good.
Mines fine too. Knew of the issue, have always been prepared for it, but not once in 6k miles since early December have I ever had the problem.
Don't even let mine warm up, park ready to go so just start it up and drive off.
I never realised how different from standard they are. Last week came back to mine and someone in a standard one had parked in the next bay.
The view from behind when compared to a normal one is quite frankly epic. Properly looks like it's got roid rage.
OK, plenty to think about then. If I'm honest, most of the previous 5 posts are simply noise to me LOL
Going to keep the data coming in, think I might alternate each month so 4 tanks or so on each grade.
Understood that there are other factors here...question to Chip...when switching fuel, how long before the engine properly works its best with it?
I'm going to carry on adding to this data, so will alternate between 95 and 99...but want to make sure I get a good reading from each change of fuel.
...I've done some science, and come up with the following...
Firstly, the accountant in me is obsessed with working out the true cost to me of this car, so from day one I have religiously recorded every penny spent using Fuel Log (Android app). After 4 months and almost 6,000 miles I think...
1. Looks like the insulation they put inside the undertray.
2. No idea!
3. Does it have a standard exhaust? If so will likely be the infamous 4k rattle...they pretty much ALL do that.
4. Not sure, never had that on mine.
Specialist? Make the trip to Portsmouth and visit Rentech. My Cup is still...
If Shell gave me Tesco Clubcard points I would LOL Plus, I go past two Tescos each way to work...nearest Shell is well out of my way.
Ran my 172 Cup religiously on V power almost all it's life so know it is that little bit better than Momentum.
